Alessandra de Rossi and Jean Garcia renew exclusive contracts with GMA Network

Internationally-acclaimed actress Alessandra de Rossi and seasoned actress and television host Jean Garcia renewed their exclusive contracts with GMA Network.

Present in the contract signing were GMA Entertainment TV's OIC Lilybeth G. Rasonable, GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Manny Valera (Alessandra and Jean's manager), and GMA Vice President for Drama Redgie Acuña-Magno.

During the contract signing, Atty. Gozon said he is very happy that Alessandra and Jean chose to stay with GMA, "Natutuwa naman tayo na ang mga magagaling na artista ay nagugustuhang manatili sa Kapuso station. Magagaling na artista yan kaya we have always considered them as assets."

Marian Rivera's "Big Surprise" For Fan

Last Sunday, June 24, the cast of the upcoming movie, "My Lady Boss" headed by Kapuso royalties Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera, entertained fans at SM Bacoor in Cavite in a mall show, which was part of the promotions of the film.

Among the crowd stood Edz, a die-hard Marian fan who returned from Cambodia in time for the mall show. Before the program began, he was just calmly sitting on his chair and talking pictures. But when his idol, Marian Rivera, went up the stage, no one could stop Edz from screaming the actress' name.

Singapore’s top communications company Star Hub presents “Under the Stars: From Online to a Live Stage” a stellar concert with a great line-up of international and local talents that have successfully gained a following on YouTube.

Featured line-up of artists include Tanner Patrick (USA), Madilyn Bailey (USA), Nate Tao (USA), The 38 Years Ago (Thailand), The Sam Willows (Singapore) and our very own Zendee as the final act.

The concept of taking YouTube sensations to a whole new level remains – bringing them closer to the audience by taking them from online to a live stage. The 3-hour musical festival will be held under the starry sky at The Coliseum of Resorts World Sentosa on June 28, 7:00pm. Zendee, and the rest of her band, flew to Singapore earlier this week to meet her co-performers. She also plans to tour around the city on her spare time since this is her first time in Singapore. Bullock stars as Sarah Ashburn, an FBI agent hoping for a promotion and high-tails it from her home base in New York City to Boston, to help solve the mystery behind several murders. Standing in Ashburn’s way is a hard-hitting Boston police officer, Shannon Mullins played by Melissa McCarthy, who’s not happy that the FBI – especially the stuck-up Ashburn -- is treading on her turf. Ashburn is determined to wrestle the case away from Mullins, but the disheveled, foul-mouthed, in-your-face cop is a formidable adversary. They’ll soon discover they have more in common than they ever thought possible, including their misfit status and complementary skillsets.

“Ashburn’s effectiveness as an FBI agent comes from her meticulousness, stubbornness and thoroughness,” says Bullock. “But she’s completely inept when it comes to any kind of social interaction. She’s trying so hard to make up for that particular weakness that she becomes insufferably arrogant on the job. Ashburn is respected but not liked because she isn’t a team player.
