Justin Meets Isabel's Other Man In "Toda Max"

Sticky situations are coming up for Isabel (Angel Locsin) on this Saturday’s (July 13) episode of “Toda Max”, as she and Justin (Vhong Navarro) cross paths with a boy from Isabel’s past who promised to marry her.

Joe (Zanjoe Marudo) is a childhood friend of Isabel. Before parting ways, he told her that when they see each other again, he would ask for her hand in marriage.

An adventurous person, Joe just happens to be the opposite of Justin—he is exciting and spontaneous and Isabel happens to find that very attractive. What’s more is that they run into each other during a trip to an amusement park, and that just makes the meeting all the more romantic.

Will Isabel and Joe fall for each other this time around? Are Joe’s old feelings strong enough to stand true even if Justin is already in Isabel’s life? To add to that, how can Justin even compete with old promises?

Tune in to “Toda Max” this Saturday (July 13) to find out, airing on ABS-CBN Channel 2 after “Maalaala Mo Kaya”.

REEL DEAL: Tiger Chen goes from stuntman to leading man in Keanu Reeve's directorial debut in 'Man of Tai-Chi"

Keanu Reeves says that he was motivated to direct his first film "Man of Tai-Chi" because the story was close to his heart and vision.

"The origins of the story date back nearly fifteen years, to when martial artist Tiger Chen Hu met Keanu Reeves while working as part of the stunt team for The Matrix. Their friendship developed over the course of the trilogy of films, with Tiger eventually assuming more prominent stunt roles, impressing Reeves with his work ethic and imagination. “I had to do Kung Fu training with Tiger, and he would tell me stories about his Tai Chi master and his unusual training methods,” Reeves recalls today. “That lead to a lot of deeper conversations about the Tao of life, Chi, martial arts, everything.” It was from these initial conversations that the two eventually decided to collaborate on a screen play that would not just feature Tai Chi as a device or excuse for high-octane fight and action sequences, but actually reflect the martial art’s philosophical values within the story.

Impressing the Ladies Like Sef Cadayona

If the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, what then is the route to a lady’s heart? It was just our luck to run into Sef Cadayona while he was taking a break from rehearsals at GMA Network Studios. The actor has his hands full with his shows Bubble Gang, Vampire ang Daddy Ko, Mundo Mo’y Akin and Sunday All Stars but still manages to keep romance alive with his current flame. “Ah madali lang yan,” Sef joked when we asked him for tips on getting the girl. “First, I think that humor goes a long way. I think sa girls you like a guy with a sense of humor kasi if the person you’re dating is putting in the effort to make you laugh, in a way pa-bibo siya sayo diba? Tsaka mahirap yun ah, paano kung fail tapos nagkatitigan lang kayo?”

Max Collins on Making Movies and Music Videos

Beaming as she sat down for a quick chat while taking a break from rehearsals for “SundayAll Stars”, Max Collins looked as fresh as ever. Casting a quick glance at her laid-back charm, you’d never guess that the actress was juggling an independent film, a musical-variety show and acting lessons. “I have too much on my plate right now,” she confessed. “It’s my first time to work on an independent film and I find that the attack is very different. Sa indie film kasi parang you have to be more subtle with your acting unlike sa teleserye na talagang big emotions dapat kung minsan. Siyempre iba rin kasi yung setting namin compared sa studio.”

Your Own Property: Vista Residences - Homes that Stand Out

A home has long been considered a social marker, signifying both the achievement and aspiration of its owner. It exemplifies his taste, style and the things that he considers important in his life. Its location, whether in a mid-range subdivision or an exclusive village, also shapes on how we view—and value—the home.

Now, as more and more people choose to live in high-rise residences, we now judge a unit on its developer, the actual structure and its location. These three things also help inform the prospective unit owner on his selection. More often than not, these things seldom intersect. A well-known developer, for instance, may not always produce an eye-catching project or perhaps the structure, designed by an award-winning architect, suffers from a not-so-good location.
