Aaron Paul, a Trusted CIA Agent in "Central Intelligence"‏

IPav, with support from Japan Foundation, Manila proudly presents “REVERIE” featuring Japanese Classical Guitarist Sachiko Miyashita in a concert tour on June 23 at the G/F Ayala Museum, Makati City.

Special guest is the Triple Fret, a Classical Contemporary guitar trio from the Philippines consisting of Jenny De Vera, Iqui Vinculado, and Marga Abejo.

Sachiko Miyashita is a Prize winner in the Andres Segovia International Guitar Competition and Tokyo Classical Guitar Competition. She is also a Recipient of Sapporo Outstanding Artist Award and Hokkaido Award for Culture.

Born in Sapporo, Japan. Miyashita began playing guitar at the age of seven.

Miyashita graduated from Hokkaido University. In 2003, she received a Diploma de Merito from Academia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy. She studied guitar performance under the tutelage of great guitarists - S.Fukuda, O.Ghiglia, E.Fernandez, P.Steidl, D.Russell and F.Cuenca.

Unsuspecting Couple Tackles Unlikely Martial Woes In “OUR KIND OF TRAITOR”

Ewan McGregor and Naomi Harris star as a married couple thrown in the obscure world of espionage and dirty politics in “Our Kind of Traitor.”  Based on the acclaimed tome by John le Carré’ of the same title, the movie finds ordinary English couple Perry (McGregor) and Gail (Harris) on holiday in Marrakech, Morocco who meet the flamboyant and charismatic Russian, Dima (Stellan Skarsgård). DepEd promotes positive discipline in everyday teaching

The Department of Education (DepEd), in cooperation with E-Net Philippines and Save the Children, will launch the Primer on Positive Discipline for Everyday Teaching on Monday, June 6, 2016, 9 am at the DepEd NCR Conference Hall, Department of Education-National Capital Region, Regional Office.

The Primer was created to help teachers apply a positive approach in classroom management and will be distributed to teachers nationwide. The Primer will also be used as a training tool for positive discipline.

"This Primer will be most valuable to our teachers so that they can cope with the day to day challenges of having to deal with young, active learners using positive reinforcement," Education Secretary Br. Armin A. Luistro FSC said.
