Luxury Log Cabins at Tagaytay Highlands’ Woodlands Point

Woodlands Point is a charming community of luxury log cabins
with only five log cabins per hectare, allowing residents to
maximize their space and enjoy the tranquil countryside.
Nestled in one of the topmost elevations in Tagaytay Highlands you will find Woodlands Point, a charming community of luxury log cabins made of Western red cedar – a sturdy hardwood from the highlands of Canada that is suitable for the tropics. Each log cabin, ranging between 239 – 320 square meters, is designed with elegant detailing of glass and stone. Enveloping this 12-hectare low-density neighborhood are thousands of Norfolk pine trees, panoramic vistas of the Canlubang countryside, Laguna de Bay, and verdant mountains. Woodlands Point is situated in Tagaytay Highlands’ most elevated terrain that makes the cool and misty weather viable all year round.

Train Station - A World Record Movie To Be Screened In The Philippines

I would not have imagined a film that will be made by 40 directors and still make a interesting and meaningful movie. It took years in development and collaboration for this film, Train Station, to be a reality.

Bringing in a lot of people for this project is no easy feat as it involves a lot of coordination and continuity. As it starts with an unnamed character in a Train station just described as "Man in Brown" goes on a series of decisions with varying outcomes in his future.

This is where creativity comes to play with the individual directors who would fit the story according to the place and culture. The non-linear style of story is not new but since there is the diversity involved, things becomes unexpected. Though some parts were very short, they still had something to share to the film.

Fatherhood Becomes John Cena in Comedy "Blockers"

After demonstrating his scene-stealing comic chops in Trainwreck, actor and WWE Superstar John Cena (Ferdinand, Daddy’s Home 2) now stars as the straight-laced, overprotective dad, Mitchell, in Universal Pictures' new comedy Blockers (in Philippine cinemas May 02.)

In the film, when three parents (Cena, Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz) discover their daughters’ pact to lose their virginity at prom, they launch a covert one-night operation to stop the teens from sealing the deal.  As nonstop helicoptering struggles with awkwardly letting go, the well-meaning trio shares in the raucous comedy that accompanies their kids’ biggest step into adulthood.

Three Young Women Make a Sex Pact in "Blockers"

The filmmakers of Universal Pictures’ new sex comedy Blockers were looking for fresh voices and a natural chemistry when casting the three young women who forge a pact to lose their virginity on prom night.

“It needed to seem as if they’d known each other most of their lives,” explains director Kay Cannon.  “Fortunately, when the three actresses got together in that week of rehearsals, it felt like they’d been best friends forever.”

The Hype Is Real! A New Player In The TNVS Market

Ride hailing and sharing is not just a new trend in transportation but a evolution of the future of commuting. With millions of people going around the metro everyday, including myself, the need for these pushed for regulations to be passed via the LTFRB. With the exit of Uber, there is a demand for the another player to break the monopoly. Well there is good news, Hype Transport System is here to serve the Pinoy commuting public.

Simply to be called Hype, this service will be in operation in May. Sharing the news are Nick Escalante (President & CEO), Jennifer Silan (COO), and John Codorniz Jr (Chief Technology Officer), they welcomed the question of media and bloggers in a recent press and blog conference.

Creative industries put spotlight on illegal streaming in WIPD 2018

Every year, World Intellectual Property Day (WIPD) marks the ongoing impact that intellectual property rights (IPR) make in encouraging innovation and creativity. In the creative sphere, patents, trademarks and copyrights are essential to protecting the work of original content creators, enabling them to profit from their work and fuel their next big idea.

As part of the Philippines’ commemoration of WIPD, the local creative industry honors the genius and courage of Filipino men and women who are shaping local cinema, TV, music, literature and other artistic fields – those who inspire the next generation of content creators, raise the bar for these industries, and champion legal means of content consumption.
