Could AI Work With Dance? G-Force Makes It Possible!

With Artificial Intelligence or AI now growing to be part of everyday lives, from visual arts, graphic design, video, who knew that it can also be used in dance. Yes, dance being a performance art can now be integrated with AI to further advance the craft.

G-Force, known as one of the best dance group and school in the country makes a interesting move to showcase their moves with the AI. How would they do it, that is one of the things they will showcase with their upcoming projects.

Once of which is their biggest and grandest Summer Dance Workshop this June and July using the hashtag #MovingForwardWithAl. The G-Force Project gathers all of its classes for a culminating future ready dance performance to be held at The Theater at Solaire on July 7 and 28. 

“We know that Al is a game changer,” G-Force artistic director Georcelle Dapat-Sy said. “As performers, where do we position ourselves? How do we co-exist with Al? How will it help and at the same time affect us?”

“G-Force is more than just dance!!! It’s about character building and self-discovery. You come to our classes looking for that sense of belonging and come out having that sense of becoming.”

Far Eastern University Bamboo Band Concert set on May 4

The Far Eastern University Center for the Arts and Far Eastern University Bamboo Band (FBB) present a special concert entitled "Ang Tangi Kong Ikaw", to be held on May 4th, Saturday, at 6:00 PM in the FEU Auditorium.

In commemoration of the 96th anniversary of Far Eastern University and the 75th year of the FEU Auditorium, the FBB returns for a free concert featuring some of the most renowned Kundiman or Philippine art songs from the past decades.

Last year, the band presented their rendition of famous songs by the renowned British band, 

The Beatles, in a concert titled "Let It BEatles!"

This year, they will showcase their interpretation of several Kundiman under the supervision of their Artistic Director, Mr. Norberto Cads, Jr., an artist with extensive knowledge of bamboo music who has participated in various international expositions and festivals together with the Banda Kawayan Pilipinas.
