REEL DEAL: Captain America Comands The "AVENGERS" In Epic Sequel

No stranger to the role of Steve Rogers/Captain America after developing the character over three films, Chris Evans admits that there is still more to learn about the quintessential American hero in Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

“Steve Rogers is still trying to figure out where he belongs,” says Evans. “He’s always been a soldier and he’s fit in that format. He enjoys structure and he enjoys having orders and a plan, and without that he does feel a bit aimless, but he is still searching for whether or not he can have a life outside of being Captain America. He’s been of service for so long that trying to figure out what he would do without his uniform and shield is a bit of a puzzle.”

REEL DEAL: Jack Huston - A Love To Last Forever In "THE LONGEST RIDE"

For the first time in so many long years, in this day and age, the art of written love letters from a man whose sensibilities women these days are looking for comes to the fore in the romantic endearing movie “The Longest Ride” based on Nicholas Sparks’ bestselling book of the same title.   Jack Huston stars with Oona Chaplin, Britt Robertson, Scott Eastwood and Alan Alda in “The Longest Ride,” which follows two intertwining love stories and the courage it takes to make marriages work in the long term.

In 1940, we meet Ira (Huston), who works in his family’s store and is entranced by Ruth (Chaplin), an artistic Austrian immigrant. They embark on a relationship that survives in the face of many obstacles.  In the present day, Sophia (Robertson), an art history student meets Luke (Eastwood), a bull rider. Like Ruth and Ira, they come from different worlds but fall in love.  Their lives intersect when Luke and Sophia rescue Ira, now an elderly widow (played by Alan Alda) who has been seriously injured after his car crashed. In the wrecked car Sophia discovered a box containing a precious stash of letters, written by Ira to his beloved wife Ruth over the course of many years. Sophia returns the box to Ira and reads the letters aloud to him. They develop a friendship as Ira reflects back on his fascinating life.

REEL DEAL: Get The Look, Meet Friends and Fiends of "THE DUFF"

Everyone knows what it is like to be sort of the underdog...especially in high school.  In the teen movie “The Duff” based by author Kody Keplinger’s book of the same name, the relatable and of-the-moment stuff of growing up and the struggle to fit in is explored in “The Duff” that will open this April 15 in cinemas (Phils.).

“As everybody transitions from youth to adulthood you get into those private moments of sharing when you realize the universal message that everybody has their stuff – their insecurities, their feelings of DUFFness,” explains producer McG. “And to some degree we have a bit of that struggle our entire lives. That is why I think the movie will appeal to a broader audience than just girls and teens.”

REEL DEAL: Kevin Hart Mentors Prison-Bound Rich Guys In "GET HARD"

One of the hottest comedians and entertainers in the industry today, Kevin Hart (“The Wedding Ringer,” “Grudge Match”) is tasked to get Will Ferrell in “tough” shape for prison, in Warner Bros. Pictures' new adult comedy “Get Hard.”

This outrageous and satirical comedy is about two guys who work in the same building but live in different worlds, until they strike an unusual and potentially life-changing deal that challenges their most basic – and hilariously off-base – preconceptions about so many things.

It all begins as Ferrell’s character, James, a ridiculously wealthy and entitled hedge fund manager with the biggest mansion and the hottest fiancĂ©e money can buy, is caught with his hand in the till. Summarily convicted of the kind of fraud that costs regular people their life savings, he then adds insult to injury by turning to the only person he can think of to help him prepare for lockup: his car detailer Darnell (Hart), a struggling but focused entrepreneur whom James automatically expects to have done time, statistically speaking, given Darnell’s age, his economic circumstances, and...

REEL DEAL: “BAT OUTTA HELL” Trailer Release

Inspired by actual events, “Bat Outta Hell” is an eerie horror thriller that follows four inspiring, young filmmakers who are sent to shoot in the vast extremes of the South Australian wilderness and ended up in a town called Nowhere Else.

Starring Rachel Murphy, Marro Dapper and Vernon Wells, “Bat Outta Hell’s” production was completed through crowd funding under Danial Donai’s direction.
In the movie, the actors portraying the role of filmmakers dine and stay for the night with an estranged man that owns a roadhouse in this dusty town. After an emotional and frightening experience, they decide to make a quick exit from the roadhouse. Soon after, their vehicle is immobilized by a flying object, which leaves them stranded in the baron desert. They find shelter for the rest of the night in an old abandoned church, which stands out of place in this barren landscape of nothing.

"Bat Outta Hell” will open very soon in theatres this April 29 from Crystal Sky Multimedia.
