Blah Blah Blog RAINY DAYS: GRINGO HONASAN in the House!

Today, I have only encountered two senators that I had time to chat and dine at the same time. First was the late Raul Roco at his Farm in Antipolo after the campaign in 2004. Now I came across another political legend and probably one of the most controversial, Senator Gingo Honasan. Known to be a fierce and brave soldier who was a key person behind the 1986 People power revolution, and also had infamous moments when he joined the coup 'd etat in the next 5 years. He has now grew into the most respectable senators of land. Now as we were in his presence, its time to get to know more about the man himself and what wisdom and skills he can share to us.

Lack of safe water and sanitation are the main priorities for those responding to the emergency in Mindanao. UNICEF is co-leading the water and sanitation response with the government, UN and NGOs to respond to the needs of children and families affected by tropical storm Sendong.

UNICEF has dispatched supplies to the affected areas including: water kits, water treatment, to ensure safe, clean water; hygiene kits containing soap, toothbrushes and personal hygiene items.

UNICEF is also preparing to send tents and tarpaulins for temporary shelter; vitamin A for mothers and infants; breastfeeding education materials to reduce the risk of infant mortality; and recreation kits so children can play and begin to have a sense of normalcy.

In the midst of the heavy rain today, it was a  sad day for the Pinoy scientific and medical community as Dr. Fe del Mundo. REEL DEAL Movies and Television: Cowboys and Aliens

The most unusual conflict that could happen to two different beings. A battle of technology, alliance, and bravery, Cowboys and Aliens don't mix but they make a pretty interesting story. Set in 1873 in the Arizona Territory, a stranger with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don’t welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde. It’s a town that lives in fear.

MUSIC LYF: Yonel Top 30 Hits!

With different countdown left and right, I found a great musical list made by my Friend Leonel (or Yonel) and it is impressing to see that the list up to date with the latest songs like the top 40. Its a great alternative to the usual countdowns. Though somehow subjective to taste, I think it would be great to have a countdown every week here at Music Lyf to gauge and get to know new singles that would also be hitmakers in the future. Visit the fan page and also share your insights, and actually many have liked the page even from overseas! So enjoy this week chart toppers!
