The Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 came to a close on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena, Philippines with the crowning of new DOTA 2 and VALORANT esports champions and electrifying performances from some of the Philippines’s most talented artists. This year’s edition of the Asia Pacific Predator League was a major success with sold-out arenas and online spectators tuned in via the Predator social media channels during the two-day event. From the 26 teams competing for top honors in the Dota 2 and VALORANT, Blacklist Rivalry and Team Secret emerged victorious and lifted the prestigious Predator Shield in their respective categories.

Be part of history as 26 teams from across the region compete for top honors in Dota 2 and VALORANT, including their share of a $200,000 prize pool and the highly coveted Predator Shield, in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The MOA Arena stage will witness epic battles between esports teams on January 13 and 14, 2024. Audiences will also get to watch never-before-seen musical stages and collaborations.
For the very first time ever, Acer ambassadors Sarah Geronimo and SB19 will perform “Ace Your World” live! The song #AceYourWorld, streaming on YouTube, was written and composed by Radkidz, the duo of John Paulo Nase (Pablo) and his brother, Joshua Daniel Nase. Through the song, Sarah G and SB19 hope to encourage everyone to stay strong despite the challenges they face in their lives.
Blacklist International, Team Secret, and other Filipino esports teams gun for victories over the region’s best at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals
The question is: How will Filipino teams fare in the tournament?
For Dota 2, iconic teams Blacklist International, Execration, and defending Asia Pacific Predator League champions Polaris Esports will be joined by the winners of the Philippine qualifiers, Made in Philippines.
For VALORANT, Team Secret, one of the most renowned teams in the VCT Pacific League, will be alongside Oasis Gaming and ZOL Esports, who both qualified during the Philippine Finals.
“It will be anybody’s game. Predator League is the stomping ground of the region’s up-and-coming esports talents. We are excited to see who is hungry enough for the victory to overcome the competition and win the Predator Shield,” said Sue Ong Lim, General Manager at Acer Philippines.
Philippine Contenders geared up for triumph at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals
Made in Philippines (MIPH) and Oasis Gaming emerged victorious in Dota 2 and VALORANT, respectively, in the Predator League 2024 Philippine Finals held in SM North EDSA Cyberzone on November 11 and 12. The victories gave the two teams each a Predator Shield and the honor of representing the Philippines at the upcoming Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals in January 2024.
For the Dota 2 grand final, Made in Philippines faced Smurfers, which beat the Wong "ChuaN" Hock Chuan and Ryan "Raging Potato" Qui-led Neon Esports with a 2-1 reverse sweep. Meanwhile, MIPH had a masterful 2-0 sweep of InterActive Philippines.
In the final, Made in Philippines also swept Smurfers, 2-0 to clinch the title and the Php250,000 cash pot. The runner-up received Php100,000. Neon Esports and InterActive Philippines each received Php55,000.
