BLAH BLAH BLOGS: 3 Years and a Song - A Francis Magalona Tribute

On the 3rd death anniversary of Master Rapper, the man from Manila, Francis Magalona, I again dedicate this blog post as a requiem of his inspiration that has been infused in many of us. It has been years and a song has been born in me. This is something I don't usually do compositions but this is special tribute of MTL and Blah Blah Blogs to the king of Pinoy Rap.

The Master Rapper Francis "Kiko" Magalona is not just a Hiphop artist but also a visionary. With a great dream that Pinoys can be proud of who they are and live out the potentials that  Kiko also dreamed of to live with dignity and sufficiency.

The Magalona Family and Friends launched the Francis Magalona Foundation (FMF) to continue his legacy: Find Meaning in the Filipino. A people with a true sense of Filipino pride, personal integrity and commitment to positive change. Last October 4, 2011 the Birth Anniversary of Master Rapper, Francis Magalona, members of the press gathered to witness the launch of the Francis Magalona Foundation (FMF). BLAH BLAH BLOGS BER EDITION: Happy Birthday Francis Magalona

Being a follower of the Master Rapper its great to meet his family which I see is a very happy one though sad since he left the world at his age. I have loved his song, though I am not really into rap, but I was deeply moved with his words of wisdom and actions that moved me and challenged me to be a better Filipino. This remains a challenge to me like everybody else but somehow though this blog I can also influence others to do the same, the call for change is always there but few only would dare to take it.

I got the chance to meet one my favorite artist in the music industry in terms of rapping. He is considered a protege with his skills in composing and rapping which some (and I) also consider the faster rapper in the country. With popular songs like Walang Natira, Upuan, Elmer, Lando, Simpleng Tao, and many songs collaborated with the celebrated musicians in the industry.  He is a legend in the making, GLOC 9!

SEAMLESS NA!!! A Tribute to Francis Magalona

It has been a year since he left us. However, his legend remains in his music, his family, fans and everyone who loved him. Hailed as the king of Pinoy Rap & Hip hop in the Philippines. He is the pioneer and made the standards of the industry in the country. I have always been fan of this man. I admired him for his vision, his passion for his craft. He managed to stay in showbiz and the music industry for a long time until his death. And even at the age of 40 plus, he seems to be like a teenager dude. I want to be like him, well probably minus the prowess of rap since I'm not good at it yet.
Earlier this day, Eat Bulaga and other shows have shown their tribute to the master rapper a year after his passing. And you will still feel that the love for him never ceases. The Rap industry in the Philippines will be grateful to him and look at him as an Icon. And most of my generation have grown up with his songs and is still played in mp3 players and the radio. His music did not just remain in the air or in recordings, but it penetrated our hearts and souls.
