Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire - More Monsters Makes More Mayhem

The expanding universe of cinematic monsters continues with the latest monster verse with Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire which continues the story of the kings of the monsters of the earth particularly Kong and Godzilla who dominates their own territory.

From the last film, we think that there is peace with the defeat of Mechagodzilla and each of them having their own domain which is the surface world and Hollow Earth. Godzilla remains on the surface fighting rouge monsters though still destructive yet very amusing, while Kong now resides on hollow earth which is unchartered and holds more mystery with its geography, flora and fauna.

But there is something that comes from hollow earth that pose a threat to both worlds especially to the humans, and its a monster monkey king with monsters under his command which means more swarm action. And yes, more monsters will be seen in this film which comes from the monster catalogue plus more. And yes, another legendary flying Kaiju is set to reappear for this one.

Titans are smashing through the big screen as “Godzilla x Kong,” filmed for IMAX, arrives on March 30. Tickets available now!

For actors Rebecca Hall and Bryan Tyree Henry, working with director Adam Wingard and his infectious enthusiasm for the film made them feel excitement for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, especially for the fans. “I saw brand new stuff every day. It makes a huge difference when your leader is a fan of this kind of universe, and is excited by the discoveries of what could possibly be, what could unfold. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I think the fans are going to be very excited,” Henry, who plays the character Bermie Hayes, explains.

Rebecca Hall, playing the role of Dr. Ilene Andrews in the film, also shares about director Wingard’s attitude towards filming, “You get this belief that he has a sense of what the film’s going to be, but you also get to have a really good time on set, because he has this exuberance that is just intoxicating. He does have an inner 10-year-old, and he’s there all the time watching everything. He directs with that enthusiasm, and you know you’ve done well, because you can hear him chuckling.”
