Knowledge Channel celebrates its 20th year of enriching education with new programs that feature some of the country's stars sharing their love for learning.

Enchong Dee returns for new season of "Agricoolture," (starting this October, every Friday and Saturday, 4:30pm) the Knowledge Channel-Land Bank produced learning series for high school students that show different agricultural activities and how they can be turned into businesses. In this season, Enchong learns fish farming, the proper handling of fishing equipment and water management, selecting and raising hogs, and yielding good and nutritious crops. 

DepEd, Knowledge Channel renew vows to deliver 21st century educ

The Department of Education (DepEd) and the Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) renewed its commitment to provide multimedia resources for over five million learners in 6,000 public schools and community learning centers in the country. 

The 10-year partnership allows public schools to have continued access to Knowledge Channel’s Educational Shows and multimedia learning resources, which complement and support the K to 12 curriculum through non-traditional and interactive modes of instruction. 

ART IS A BANG: Ballet Philippines’ The Sleeping Beauty

Audiences still have the chance to watch "The Sleeping Beauty" presented by Ballet Philippines at the CCP Main Theater. They have shows on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 10 AM and 3 PM, Friday, Dec 9 at 3 Pm and 8 PM, and Sunday, Dec 11 at 3 PM. The performances on Saturday (3 PM and 8 PM) are sponsored by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Employees Association and Knowledge Channel, respectively. 

The Manila Symphony Orchestra will play Tchaikovsky's music live for one last time on Friday, Dec. 9 at 8 PM, with Katherine Trofeo as Princess Aurora and Jean Marc Cordero as Prince Desire.
