SM Supermalls Start 100 Days of Caring and Giving

September kicks off the start of the countdown until Christmas day on December, and being Filipinos, the season already starts with sounds and sights seen in decorations on the first day of the month. SM Supermalls also has a yearly tradition of bringing a yuletide ambiance and advocacy to also reach out to communities all over the country where SM Malls are also located.

As we are still in a challenging period of limited movement and essential shopping, it does not hinder the opportunity to bring the spirit of Christmas with the 100 Days of Caring and Giving. This event not only celebrates the upcoming holiday but also brings together all the SM Supermalls from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

SM and BDO Make Christmas For OFWs Extra Special

Diane Reyes had spent the last six years working in Japan as a teacher. This year she looks forward to finally spending Christmas with her family.

SM Supermalls has made Christmas for Reyes even more special with its Pamaskong Handog para sa Global Pinoys celebration last December 10.

Spearheaded by SM Supermalls, BDO, SM Global Pinoy and SM Store, the Pamaskong Handog Para sa Global Pinoy gave Overseas Filipino Workers like Reyes and their families a special day to celebrate the uniquely Filipino Christmas celebration in participating SM malls nationwide.

“The Pamaskong Handog Para sa Global Pinoy is really for our modern heroes and their families because it’s not every year that they get to experience Christmas here and so we want to them to experience the unique Filipino Christmas to make them homecoming memorable and truly heartwarming,” said Mr. Glenn D. Ang, Senior Vice President for Operations and Program Director of SM Global Pinoy.

Blogger Quiz Night With SM!

I am a sucker for quiz competition/nights, I used to take part of trivia competitions which some I have won. And recently I got invited to join a quiz night organized by SM and Weber Shandwick. Knowing what would be expecting, I gladly joined in to give it may all, also my stored knowledge that will hopefully lead me and my team to victory.

The Quiz Night was indeed related to SM topics which is also as general as anything under the sun, well their their slogan is "Everything's here at SM" which holds true with all of the needs are found in SM Malls from clothing, food, appliances, furniture, entertainment, and expands further which we are looking forward to.

SMDC’s Grace Residences: a gift of serenity

Any weekday spent in the cityscapes of Makati, Ortigas or Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is an adventure. Amid all the fast-paced movement, one can sense the collective pulse of human interaction and the steady bellowing of rushing vehicles. Going home the quickest way possible, whether to retire for the day or to freshen up for a night out, is a challenge because of rush-hour traffic.

Who Were There to Support Michael Martinez in Sochi Olympics?

Michael Christian Martinez, the first Filipino figure skater and lone representative of the Philippines in the Sochi Olympics has gone through a lot as he ventures into the winter Olympics.

It has also been more than 22 (1992) years since the country was able to send a representative to the Winter Games.

101 New York Collection

101 New York ushers the Holiday season with an homage to the future with a glimpse of the glamour era of the past. Entering into a time of futurism, 101 New York brings in fresh takes on anything slick and elegant from the bygone days of 1920’s New York. It is about escape, explore, and shine. It is a tasteful and glamorous celebration of the future.

A chic, futuristic, and elegant spirit is epitomized in the Holiday collection. For men, the classic peacoat is re-interpreted in the most comfortable cotton twill, the length is cropped to create a more contemporary appeal and cut close to the body for a more defined look. The tuxedo shirt, which was worn only in black-tie events, is revamped to a more casual, yet, sophisticated cut with fabric combinations and paired up with coated dark denim pants, perfect for a night prowl in the city.

For ladies, soft jersey dresses are draped to lend a romantic mood reminiscent of Vionnet’s bias cut dresses to emphasize feminine charm and sophistication. The shoulders and neck are highlighted with a playful application of beads, sequins, rhinestones, glittery embroideries for a classic sensuality that exudes the thrill of holiday partying with glamour and passion!

101 New York lets the good times roll and brings glamour back this Holidays.

Starbucks Mezza is now open! Free wifi at SM Centerpoint!

Lately there had been nice improvements here in the Sta Mesa area after it was badly affected by typhoon ondoy last year. Mezza by SM has been a great landmark there. And since its also across my school (CCP), it has been very convenient for me. But what caught my attention is the new starbucks store on Mezza. Its kinda exciting since SM Sta Mesa does not have Starbucks and the other store is located kilometers away in Quezon Boulevard. It actually opened last week and saw that they have a lot of customers which I can say is a nice location. I am looking forward to enjoy a frappe here soon.

Also another thing that happened in SM City Sta Mesa is the launch of the FREE WIFI! Yes you heard it right, free wifi and this time its available in one of SM's pioneer mall. I have not tried it yet but I was able to get a pic from the launch and it seems to be good. Now these things made me so happy since its just beside school. I thought that Sta Mesa was left out but with these improvements in the area, I feel that this is be a center of trade, education and also amusement. Now the only thing missing is a McDonalds branch, the branch in SM closed and never opened since then. Well at least there are improvements and these makes life here in Sta Mesa more convenient.
