Unfriended: Dark Web - The Internet's Deepest Secret

The internet is really a dark place to linger. As many of us have become dependent with technology, it has evolved into a scary place beyond the usual facade of cat videos and funny memes. This has been a marketplace of sin, deceit, and lies. With a scary story made from this concept was made in 2015, it is indeed time to have a sequel named Unfriended: The Dark Web.

From the name itself, it is already showing the uncharted place online where morbid things are stored and shared, unimaginable transactions and activities were done. This film has no connection with the previous one but follows the same format of everything happens in one screen.

It begins with a laptop Mattias (Woodell) "bought" from craigslist. With interactions with his friends and his special someone, he found himself dragged into a complicated situation where the owner of the laptop wants it back and it will eventually also get the others involved. Incredibly, it is updated with the new trends and the use of many apps and websites commonly used by most of us, which makes it scary.
