Heroes Collide in New Concept Art from "Captain America: Civil War"‏

Heroes square off against hero in new art for Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War." Check out the artwork and see "Captain America: Civil War" in Philippine cinemas on April 27, 2016.

Tensions rise as the world governments demand accountability for our heroes’ actions in “Captain America: Civil War,” pitting friend against friend.

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

REEL DEAL: “AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON” Welcomes Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch

They became box-office movie stars with the release of last year's monster hit “Godzilla.” Now, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen make their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe when they take on the roles of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, respectively, in Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

One of the loose ends to clean up after the Battle of New York in the first “Avengers” film finds our Super Heroes in Eastern European Sokovia. This is where the Avengers encounter two new characters in the film – Pietro and Wanda Maximoff aka Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

Producer Kevin Feige says, “They have a very interesting introduction to The Avengers, which is why we wanted to use them in this film. They are not fans of The Avengers at all. They’re from this Eastern European country known as Sokovia that used to be a S.H.I.E.L.D post, but Hydra has been operating out of and it’s not the nicest organization.”

REEL DEAL: Downet Feels “AGE OF ULTRON” Marks End of Era, Start of New

Fan-favorite Robert Downey Jr. reprises his seminal portrayal of Tony Stark/Iron Man for the fifth time in Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” In Marvel’s “The Avengers” Tony Stark struggled to become a team player and in “Iron Man 3” audiences saw him transcend his dependency on the tech that was keeping him alive. So where does he go now?

To Downey Jr., the answer is simple: “There’s all this unfinished business. There’s the matter of a certain wormhole that opened over New York and the imminent threat that still implies, so Tony has turned his attentions more toward a bit of a post-Reagan-era, Star-Wars-type notion and he likes to call it Ultron.”

REEL DEAL: Johansson, Renner, Back as Black Widow, Hawkeye In "AVENGERS" Sequel

Acclaimed actors Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner reprise their beloved, kick-ass roles as Black Widow and Hawkeye, respectively, in Marvel's new action-adventure “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

When Johansson dons Black Widow’s gear for the new film, she has one clear goal in mind: keeping true to her character. She says, “The most important aspect of my job as an actor, who’s been carrying this character from ‘Iron Man’ to ‘The Avengers’ and ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ is to keep consistency with the character’s arc and have the character’s evolution be one that is cohesive. You want to feel like the character is growing as opposed to just staying the same.”

Although Johansson worked with different directors over the course of inhabiting the Natasha Romanoff character, it was her first meeting with director/writer Joss Whedon that allowed her to explore her character’s past. “In my first meeting with Joss, I had the chance to talk about Natasha’s backstory and her sordid past,” recalls Johansson, “and I wanted to make sure that she stayed sort of gray, not really black or white. What’s exciting and compelling about the character is that she’s not Cap; she’s not righteous. She was in S.H.I.E.L.D. because it’s where she belonged, not necessarily that it was the right place to be. Now we find The Avengers in business as usual mode but it’s changing. So it’s my job to make sure that Natasha, through that change, stays true to the Natasha that I started with in ‘The Avengers.’”

REEL DEAL: The Avengers REVIEW

It took about almost 4 years as it has been the most awaited movie with 5 movies to pave the way for its worldwide debut. The Avengers bring together the earth's mightiest heroes namely Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, and Black Widow and the S.H.I.E.L.D. led by Nick Fury. There is also a lot of pressure among the producers, writers and also the cast as this has been the movie everyone has been waiting this 2012.  It is also brings the biggest names like Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America,  Mark Ruffalo as Dr. Bruce Banner/ The Incredible Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill and also apperances of Clark Gregg, Stellan Skarsgård and Gwyneth Paltrow as Phil Coulson, Erik Selvig and Pepper Potts respectively.

The movie has exceeded my expectations and also happy to see the unlikely yet very entertaining characters. Also a great debut film for Hawkeye who has not have his own film. You will also get to know the secret organization S.H.I.E.L.D. and the people that runs the organization.

I did enjoy the movies and each of them brought great anticipation for comic fans and non fans together, and even you might have never seen the previous films still makes every scene something to watch out for. And they have also been familiar to the public as the characters have been in comic books, TV series and also earlier movies that made their names familiar for generations.
