Angkas Is Gearing Up For Pilot Run With Training And Safety Measures

After so many months of stalling and controversies, Angkas finally got the green light to resume operations but has to go through a government-sanctioned six-month pilot run in Metro Manila and Metro Cebu. The run aims to show the government how Angkas provides and additional transportation options for the very congested metro.

They currently have 27,000 biker-partners that mostly depend on the service to provide for their families. When Angkas was put on hold, they and their families were very affected as income became more scarce. But with the persistence of the Angkas management and government agencies like the DoTr and LTFRB, they agreed on a 6 month pilot run which will be assessed if they will pass safety and efficiency standards that will be the basis of giving it a permanent permit to operate.

Kids Learn Basketball With Ease And Fun With Cholo Camp

Summer clinics for kids are still the go to activity that parents wants for their kids, and the number one sport for almost everyone is basketball. Though there are so many courts in the country, the proper training and knowledge is still needed to make sure players are able to play efficiently and fairly.

Pocholo Iñigo Villanueva or Cholo was known as a member of the De La Salle Green Archers where they won the 2007 championship and also awarded as Finals MVP. After this he was drafted into the PBA with Air21 Express. He started venturing into coaching back in 2008 for DLSU and he enjoyed it as his career in professional basketball continues.

However he felt that his true calling was really with coaching as he dedicated more time for coaching and worked with various teams as mentor. He currently is the Head Coach for the DLSU Lady Archers and the Assistant Coach for the Jose Rizal University. From here he formed his own basketball clinic called Cholo Camp.

MILO R2 – APEX Running School launches its eighth season, online training program

In April of this year, the MILO R2 APEX Running School will launch its eighth season to further its commitment to helping Filipino adults achieve peak form and a well-rounded lifestyle. Anchored on MILO’s thrust in building a nation of champions, the running school aims to engage and develop over 2,000 participants.

This year, the MILO R2 APEX Running School will launch new opportunities for aspiring runners and athletes. Young adults will be engaged through a series of web episodes that will serve as the online counterpart of the running school. Each video, hosted on the MILO Philippines’ official website, will feature lectures on injury prevention, core training, nutrition, strength, speed and power training, and other modules that are part of the full running program. The initiative aims to give runners based in Metro Manila and provincial areas a chance to scale their knowledge and skills with an accessible platform. A 4-city roadshow in Baguio, Iloilo, Cagayan De Oro, and Davao will also be held within the year to promote the science of running.

Be Trained in the Chubbuck Acting Technique

Everyone loves to be an actor, even myself as I became a part of theater and hoping to get back on stage. And seeing a lot of actors and directors in TV and in real life makes me understand how this craft is no easy work and requires refinement and hard work.

Director Rahyan Carlos, one of the directors of ABS CBN movies and teleseryes have trained many artists under Star Magic, also trained people for acting workshops for more than 14 years and still continues to learn many things and techniques about the art of acting.
