iBlog 8 Now Happening!

For today and tomorrow iBlog 8 is happening at the UP College of Law, Malcolm Hall. Another fun filled day of learning and networking about what's new and what's going on in the Phlippine Blogging Scene. Now on its 8th year, it brings together bloggers from the metro and even from North Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to join in this annual event.

I have attended iBlog since 2009 and have been looking forward to meet more blog friends and companies who support the online media.  The Agenda for the two days are as follows:

Preparing for the First Baguio Bloggers' Conference!

Philippine Internet Congress and Expo

With over 30 million active internet users in the Philippines, the world wide web is becoming a necessity to many Filipinos here and worldwide. And with exponent increase of the industry, the call for laws, infrastructure, systems, and large scale organization is a must for our country. 

Aside from  the Social Media Capital of the World, the country is also has the most number of  Call Center employees in the world that also uses the internet as a tool in providing world class service. 

This year, there will be the largest congress and exposition about the Internet and happening at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall. The Philippine Internet Congress and Expo brings together the biggest names and most influential people in the Phlippine digital scene.

WINNERS' CIRCLE!

I was recently invited by a good friend Jayson Biadog on his celebration of the Winners Circle winners at Wendy's Boni. It was an event that he organized by himself. He is actually really one cool blogger as he himself is a winner in many different ways, and most especially in winning contest. Now, he wants to share this to fellow bloggers both old and new. My blog is even older than his but he was actively joining contest in the past that he was able to go to Singapore and date a beauty queen there.

Now, for this event he gathered fellow bloggers to celebrate the winners of the Winners' Circle contest in his blog. But it feels that all who attended the event are already winners in their own way as they are also successful and also has their own story to share. Most of them are new bloggers and mommy bloggers. Present in the event were Jonel Uy and Ms. Janette Toral who also shared their wisdom about blogging.


It was indeed fun to meet new bloggers at that time. Hope to meet them in the coming events!
