Everybody dreams of having their own businesses, and the fact is that majority of the businesses in the Philippines are SME based. By definition small is categorized with asset of Php. 3,000,001 to Php. 15,000,001 and having between 10 to 99 employees. On the other hand Medium is classified as Php. 15,000,001 to Php. 100,000,000 with 100 to 199 people. Many agencies be it government, private and NGOs are focused in helping the SMEs. Through its 'We Serve' program, the leading appliance store in the country will be offering free laundry services, free appliance cleaning, checkups, and discounts on spare parts for electronics. This bayanihan effort is in cooperation with Samsung, Sharp, LG, TCL, Kelvinator, Condura, Fujindenzo, and Whirlpool, though the help of the Bulacan provincial government.

TEN MOVES for Better Education

We know the reality that in our educational system lacks funding that will provide quality education for the youth. The country needs not just hundreds but ten thousands of classrooms that can shelter students and teachers. As ordinary Filipinos, we may see ourselves that we can only contribute less or nothing at all, but this mentality can be changed with our nature of Bayanihan. Helping others especially our poverty stricken areas which have students in need of decent classrooms.

REEL DEAL Movie and Television: Puss in Boots Spotlight Antonio Banderas

From the outset, one of the keys to the popularity of the character of Puss in Boots was the voice that came out of the outlaw hero—Antonio Banderas.

Director Chris Miller:  “Puss in Boots is played by Antonio Banderas, or is Antonio Banderas played by Puss in Boots?  I don’t know, sometimes it’s hard to tell the two of them apart.  But one thing’s for sure, one could not exist without the other, because Antonio brings such passion to the role.  This tiny little creature should have, you would think, a squeaky voice—but out of his mouth comes this deep sound.  There some real humor created in the juxtaposition of the two.  Here’s this great actor with a massive voice, and he’s voicing this cute, furry animal.  What I love about Antonio’s performance is when he takes himself the most seriously, and Puss is doing something truer to his nature, like chasing a point of light.”

FASHIONISTA: UNO Magazine partners with Make Up Forever

Being fashionable not only involves clothes and shoes but also knowing how to use and choose the right make up that will make you stand out and gives your more confidence. As a man, I know nothing about it since I very rarely had it (of course I used it in stage plays back then).  But to use it occasionally might have its benefits and also would give me a keener eye on  what would be good or bad make up, and to know that is best we ask the experts from MAKE UP FOR EVER.

Got a Hair Makeover with BND Hair Gallery!

I admit I do not care much on where I get my haircut, I just felt that it would be the same thing and the result would look the same too. But I recently discovered that indeed I had bad hair months because instead of having a haircut, they would just try to butcher with it just to make it shorter. And I think I look better with short hair. Anyways, I came across BND Hair Gallery Salon in Panay Avenue near ABS CBN.

Bloggers Takes On The Smart Amazing All-Net Race

Racing through the urban jungle is what I like to do but couldn't because it would be embarrassing, that is why if ever I got a chance to be in an "Amazing Race" style of adventure, I'm in!

Coincidentally, I got into an event by SMART which is the SMART POSTPAID AMAZING ALL-NET RACE that was held at Eastwood City, Libis. Eastwood is a great location because there are a lot of open spaces but also building and structures, not to forget the many attractions that have people kept coming. With blogger friends who are also into the spirit of  competition, we take on one of the most exciting races I had.

The race does not look simple at it sounds like, because it will involve wit and strength to finish the task accordingly and get the clues and keys to the nest stage. First of all, we were divided into three groups (Yellow, Blue and Green), and I belong to the Blue team with Mommy Jo Bonsol, Carl Valenzona, and Enzo Luna. Due to Teacher Jo's condition, she opted to stay and participate in the mental challenges.
