Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo lead Kapuso stars in one hot summer party in Boracay

Summer isn’t over yet! And in Boracay – the Philippines’ Summer Party Capital – the heat is just about to go a notch higher as some of the biggest stars of GMA Network, topbilled by Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo, give  an  all-out access  to entertainment and party to all Kapusothrough a two-day event dubbed “Kapuso Weekend” this May 11 to 12!

Jackie Rice in a ‘cool-off’ with non-showbiz BF, but not ready to love someone else

During the pictorial and story conference of GMA-7’s upcoming drama series Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka?, actress Jackie Rice admitted to reporters that she and her non-showbiz boyfriend are technically in a “cool-off” situation after a recent misunderstanding.

“Mejo hiwalay kami, pero as of now friends kami. Pero tina-try namin na mag-work ‘yung dati.  Siyempre ayoko namang madaliin kasi ang tagal na namin,” she said in an interview.

Jackie immediately clarified, however, that the split-up was not caused by a third party, but a few misunderstandings. 

“May mga bagay na hindi kami nagkakaintindihan – mga maliliit na bagay nagkakaaway kami. Siyempre nagkakaroon din ng misunderstandings.  So, ngayon parang nanliligaw ulit.”

So, since she is technically single, is she willing to entertain suitors? 

Run for Road Safety!

Dubbed the OneA Run for Road Safety, this joint activity with DOTC's (Department of Transportation and Communication) Decade of Action for Road Safety is set to take place on May 13, 2012, at 5:00 a.m.

Starting point will be OneA Place in Antipolo City, where there's going to be an onsite registration.

Meet 'Father Gay' on GMA-7's Tunay Na Buhay

This Thursday night, on GMA-7's Tunay Na Buhay, join Rhea Santos as she comes face to face with what lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBTs) can consider as manna from heaven-pastor CJ Agbayani.

Pastor CJ Agbayani of the Metropolitan Community Church or MCC has been conducting marriage rites for both sexes for six years now.

They call this rite "Holy Union" where he weds gays, lesbians and bisexuals as couples.

Pastor CJ used to be a seminarian but after several years, decided to leave the seminary to pursue his new "calling."

Caloocan RTC dismisses motion for indirect contempt against GMA Network and Mike Enriquez

The Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 126 of Caloocan City denied a motion to cite GMA Network, Inc. (GMA) and veteran broadcaster Mike Enriquez in indirect contempt which was filed by Ronald Virola in connection with episodes aired on the GMA program Imbestigador.

The Court earlier dismissed a civil complaint for moral damages filed by Virola against the defendants for an Imbestigador story on a police raid conducted in Virola's residence shown in 2002.

The said episodes showed Virola in possession of an undetermined quantity of regulated and/or prohibited drugs and VHS tapes containing nude and obscene footage of different women, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs and sexually abused by Virola.

Virola argued that such story falsely imputed to him the crimes of rape and obscene publication, and sought P1.2 million worth of damages from GMA.

The track, which he recorded with the artist Kimbra, already accumulated 200 million views and counting, with several covers appearing everywhere.  

Tropang Potchi’s Summer Getaway this Saturday

The Santacruzan is one of the most popular and most anticipated festivals throughout the Philippines. And for their summer episode this Saturday, May 12, the Tropang Potchi is all set to join the festivity!
