From Academy Award nominee Ridley Scott comes "The Counselor" starring Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, John Leguizamo, Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz.  

Written by Pulitzer Prize winner Cormac McCarthy, "The Counselor" follows lawyer (Fassbender) who he decides to get involved in a drug deal worth millions. Thinking that his involvement in the deal with a friend (Bardem) and a drug broker (Pitt) will never suck him down, he soon learns that such decision will lead him on a desperate trail of survival.

"The Counselor" will open November 15 in theaters from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.

Warizal clinches repeat victory at the 37th National MILO Marathon Puerto Princesa leg

The country’s premiere footrace kicks off in Palawan

Manila, Philippines – Norlan Warizal and Bernardita Mag-Aso ruled the centerpiece 21-K events in dominant fashion on Sunday as the Puerto Princesa leg officially kicked off the 37th National MILO Marathon in Palawan. A total of 6,846 runners joined the event.

Under an overcast sky, 28-year old Warizal, who also topped last year’s Puerto Princesa leg, sustained his mastery over category rivals and submitted a time of 1:17:55 that proved enough to hold off counterparts Orly Maestro (1:21:56) and Mark Julius Mendoza (1:22:01).

MILO, DepEd poised to reach 34,200 advocacy mark

Help Give Shoes advocacy encourages marathoners to run for a noble cause 

 Now on its 37th year of staging, the National MILO Marathon is geared towards providing an athletic platform for elite and aspiring runners that embodies Filipino camaraderie. The country’s most prestigious leg race calls on local athletes to lace up once again and join in raising 10,000 more pairs of shoes for public school children across the country through the Help Give Shoes Advocacy. Since 2010, MILO has delivered 24,200 pairs to young champions and is poised to hit the 34,200 mark at the end of the season.

Diamond recording band Sponge Cola celebrates their 13-year-old in the local music industry with a major concert bille Maximum Capacity this July 19, 8pm, at the Music Museum.

Expect the biggest hits of Sponge Cola to be performed during the concert.

"Aside from being a celebration of our 13 years in the business, Maximum Capacity is also our way of giving thanks to everyone who have generously supported us through the years through our music," says frontman Yael Yuzon. "It will be one  fun night of Sponge Cola music."

Ignite Dance Manila Making Waves Here And Abroad

In celebration of Manila day SM City Manila had its yearly sale but that day was also perfect time to see the Ignite Dance perform in public as most of them was fresh from their international competition in Hong Kong. They competed at the "Asian highschoolers hiphop championship" and made it  to the grand finals.

They were also busy with the summer workshops for various kinds of dance as well as teaching the young and old. Ignite Dance Manila has went beyond that other Philippine dance groups has never done before.
