Accidental Hero Commits Crime for the Good Guys in "American Made"

Sneak Previews Set for "Annabelle: Creation" Aug 14 & 15

The year's most eagerly anticipated horror thriller, New Line Cinema's Annabelle: Creation, will hold whole-day sneak previews in most cinemas nationwide on Monday and Tuesday, August 14 & 15, this was announced by Warner Bros. Philippines today.

Tickets will be be regular admission prices.

The sneaks are being held (ahead of the film's grand opening on August 23) in response to loud but inspired clamor from horror fans. “This is our special treat to them,” says Francis Soliven, General Manager of Warner Bros. Philippines. “The fans are elevating their excitement and anticipation to this film in such creative ways, and we are pleased to return the favor.”

Warner Bros. Philippines has previously organized a media and fan screening August 7 which coincided with the celebration of International Doll Day. Fans showed up with their own dolls to mark the occasion.

From New Line Cinema comes Annabelle: Creation, with David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) helming the follow up to 2014’s hugely successful Annabelle. The new film is once again produced by Peter Safran and James Wan, who previously partnered on The Conjuring movies.

In Annabelle: Creation, several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a doll maker and his wife welcome a nun and six girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home. They soon become the target of the doll maker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

The film stars Stephanie Sigman (Spectre), Talitha Bateman (upcoming Geostorm), Lulu Wilson (Ouija: Origin of Evil, Deliver Us from Evil), Philippa Coulthard, Grace Fulton, Lou Lou Safran, Samara Lee (The Last Witch Hunter), and Tayler Buck in her feature film debut, with Anthony LaPaglia (TV’s Without a Trace) and Miranda Otto (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy).

Vice Ganda takes the “Pusuan Mo si Vice Ganda: Nasaktan. Nagmahal. Nag-concert.” phenomenon to South Korea

The Philippines’ Unakabogabol Star (indomitable star) Vice Ganda will continue to spread love and laughter in Asia, as his phenomenal concert series “Pusuan Mo si Vice Ganda: Nagmahal. Nasaktan. Nag-concert.” goes to South Korea. Following the success of Vice Ganda’s concert in Japan, the first leg of his tour outside the Philippines and within Asia, the “Pusuan Mo si Vice Ganda sa Korea: Nagmahal. Nasaktan. Nag-concert.” will happen on August 13, this time at the Ansan Olympic Hall, Ansan, South Korea. 

Aside from Vice Ganda, concert-goers will have a taste of homegrown humor from his “It’s Showtime” co-host Ryan Bang, and comedians MC Calaquian and Lassy Marquez. Limited edition TFC merchandise will also be available at the TFC booth for lucky promo participants. TJ Monterde dominates Billboard PH charts with four hot singles!

Acoustic pop balladeer TJ Monterde’s albums, produced and released by PolyEast Records, have each officially landed four singles at the peak of the weekly Billboard Philippines Top 20. 

According to Billboard PH, four of TJ’s singles have entered thr top charts in span of five weeks. Recently, “Tulad Mo” from his CD single released in 2015 is sitting atop Billboard Philippines Top 20 at #2. While the song “Dating Tayo” (2016, Self-Titled Album) also at #6.  

Another hit culled from the 2016 self-titled album is “Ikaw At Ako Pa Rin,” TJ’s duet with soul singer KZ Tandingan is also enjoying its #12 position. TJ’s debut single in 2013 which led him to stardom, “Ikaw At Ako” coming in at #14 giving the singer its 4th top 20 entry on the latest Billboard Philippines weekly top charts.
