Dune Part Two continues the struggle of Paul Atreides (Timothée), to learn the ways of the dessert planet Arrakis which is known for its "spice" production and coveted by the empire. His rise to power and influence along with his mother now called Reverend Mother, rises tensions across the planet along with its citizens and warrior tribes.
Though I have not watched the first film, the lore and intricacies of part two opened my curiosity about Dune which led me to watch videos about the story of Dune and the possible future they would make. The aesthetics of the film may involve a lot of sand and desert but seeing it on IMAX gives its more justice in understanding the movie.
The catalyst for this collaboration was a casual dinner meeting between In Guk and Francine's manager, John Ling.
