Children at the Crossroads: A Photo Exhibit

These snapshots where captured by the lenses of the celebrated photographer, Jun De Leon, as he visited Maguindanao, days after the Mamasapano incident in January.

Entitled "Children at the Crossroads: Window to Healing in Mindanao," de Leon's photographs were put on display from October 2-4 at the Glorietta 5 Activity Center. The exhibit aims to raise awareness on the effects and impact of armed conflict in the Bangsamoro on children. It is also part of the continuing celebration of the National Peace Consciousness Month held annually every September and the National Children's Month held every October.

90's Hit Artists Diana King and All-4-One Will Have A Concert at Newport Performing Arts Theater!

The 90's was indeed a decade of innovative and unforgettable music. New World Record For Largest Gospel Choir Set By MCGI

Another World Record is set in the Philippines this month, this time it was made by voices singing praises to God. Completely filling Smart Araneta Coliseum on Monday (October 12), members of Church of God International (MCGI) celebrated the 35th anniversary of Ang Dating Daan - the longest running religious program on radio and television, with an attempt for the largest Gospel Choir.

There was also the presence of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), on which the whole gathering was dedicated to, giving them the best seats in the house for them to enjoy the offering of songs of thanksgiving to God. In the said occasion, 10 groups of PWD were gifted P100K each and 30 individuals were also granted 10K each. All of them including their aides left with a bag of grocery items.

A Song Of Praise Music Festival Is Now On Its 4th Year!

Going strong on its 4th year, A Song Of Praise Musical Festival or ASOP continues to share gospel music to the public with 12 new finalists who won the monthly finals and culminates at the grand finals night happening at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Spearheaded by Daniel Razon, and is also a regular show on UNTV, A Song Of Praise have brought many songwriters and singers together which is the biggest Christian songwriting competition in the country.
