90's Hit Artists Diana King and All-4-One Will Have A Concert at Newport Performing Arts Theater!

The 90's was indeed a decade of innovative and unforgettable music. With artists experimenting on pop, RnB, Hiphop etc., the music scene has grown so much that they still continue to influence us even up to today. And one of the most loved artists of that decade are All-4-One and Diana King. Good news is that they will be performing here in the Philippines at the Newport Performing Art Theater This October 28!

I remembered when I covered the Then and Now Concert 5 years ago where Diana King was one of the performers. It was truly a surreal experience as she is one of the most anticipated artist for the concert. If your might be too young and wondering who they are, let me give you some information about them.

All-4-One is an american male RnB/Pop grop best known for their cover hit single I swear from their self-titled 1994 debut album. The group comprises James Jones, Delious Kennedy, Alfred Nevarez, and Tony Borowiak, all fom the Antelope Valley in Mojave, California areas, but are based in Los Angeles Area. The group has sold 22 million records worldwide.

Dubbed as the dukes of RnB by several internet sources, All-4-One's hit "I Swear" won a Grammy Award in 1995 for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and enjoyed an eleven-week run at No. 1 on the Billboard 100 and a seven week run at No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart. It has been named by ASCAP as one of the greatest love songs of the 20th Century. It was also nominated for Song of the Year, as was the single Top 5 smash hit " I Can Love You Like That." The group was popular before the No. 1 success of " I Swear" as their previous single "So Much In Love" (Originally a No. 1 US hit for the Tymes in 1963) had reached Np. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year. Other hits include "She Got Skillz", "These Arms", "Beautiful As U", "I Will Be Right Here", and "Someday" (the title single from the Disney animated feature of The Hunchback of Notre Dame).

All-4-One is featured on the following: Tapestry Revisited: A Tribute to Carole King, with their rendition of "Tapestry", which sold a million units, the multi-platinum soundtrack of Walt Disney Pictures animated feature film "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" with the main theme song "Someday", and the Space Jam soundtrack, a 5-time platinum album with "I Turn To You". They are also featured in the soundtrackof the movie of Mi Familia with the song "One Summer Night", a 60's remake and the 1996 Grammy Nominees album, with "I Can Love You Like That". 

The Grammy Album is a compilation of songs nominated for song of the year and this too sold a million copies. All-4-One's songs are frequently licensed for commercials, music compilations, TV shows, and major motion pictures such as Despicable Me, Earth To Echo, the hilarious Ryan Reynolds comedy Just Friends, The Social Network and Nothing To Lose. All-4-One has recorded duets with legends such as Julio Iglesias and Kenny Rogers.

All-4-One continues to tour the world as the original members and a collection of hit songs under their belt. To celebrate a two decade milestone, All-4-One releases their best music yet with Twenty+ on July 24, 2015.
