Marco, Hajji, Noel and Nonoy in One Special Night Performance - The Classics

Mark your calendar for an unforgettable gathering of four iconic Filipino artists - Marco Sison, Hajji Alejandro, Noel Cabangon, and Nonoy Zuniga  - together in one stage, one corcert, one night only! THE CLASSICS brings together these incomparable four gentlemen for an enchanted evening of song, music and dance on November 7, Sunday 8PM at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila.

The original kilabot ng Kolehiyala (College girl's heartthrob), Alejandro is best remembered for such songs as Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika, Panakip Butas, and Nakapgtataka.

Sison started his singing career after his triumph on a singing contest in Channel 7's noontime variety show " Student Canteen" in the late 70's and early 80's. Being one of the classic balladeers to have captured the true vocal essence of OPM in the 80's, Sison was responsible for the songs My Love Will See you Through (his biggest thus far), Si Aida si Lorna o si Fe, I'll Face You Tomorrow, Always Make Believe.

Noel is the voice behind the popular song Kanlungan o Pana-Panahon, as most people would call it. He is a singer-songwriter for theater. he started his career as a folksinger in 1982 and since then has been performing in various folk houses and music bars in Metro Manila. Noel has also performed in several concerts local and abroad. He had his first song "Hanap-hanap Ka" written for Calvin Millado, then an upcoming recording artist of BMG records, then followed by "Ang Diwa Ng Pasko", a Christmas song for GMA 7's Christmas Collection which was interpreted by Janno Gibbs. And after that, he wrote a couple of songs, "Kita'y Maghihintay" and "Nasa Langit", for Agot Isidro also a BMG artist. The latter song "Nasa Langit" became her second single. His being a finalist to the Metro Manila Popular Music Festival in 1999 opened a lot of opportunities for him in the industry.

Zuniga's singing career spans more than 3 decades, as a folk singer from 1971 to 1975 and then one of the lead singers of the Family Birth Control Band which performed in the best nightspots and hotels like the Philippine Plaza, Holiday Inn, and the Manila Hotel from 1975-1980. All his performances in the US from 1983 to the present are well-acclaimed. He has also performed in Asia including major cities in Australia, Japan, South Korea, China, and New Zealand.

This dream concert will have four artists dishing out several of the signature pieces. The Classics is presneted by Resorts World Manila in cooperation with Redstone Media Production Inc.

Tickets are now available in all Ticketworld, Ticketnet, and SM Ticket Outlets.
