Hope And Care Continues As We Leave 2020

Like one of the popular songs today, life goes on for many of us despite the year 2020 has been not the best year for everybody. Imagine that the bustling economy and daily social life was put into a halt almost instantly, and it has affected us in one way or more.

From the usual gatherings we have, we have been living in quarantine for months, and maybe can reach up to a year. Jobs were lost as businesses were closed. Schools and Offices goes online just to avoid infection. And even during holidays, traveling is strictly discouraged as part of health protocols.

This make its really sad to experience but we have to adjust to keep ourselves and and our families safe. But there is a glimmer of hope as we are now receiving news of a vaccine that will help us go back to normal. However it will still take a while for it to be distributed to all, and it still practical to keep safe than sorry.

Ben&Ben teams up with Smart to simply inspire the Filipino youth

The year 2020 may have turned our world upside down, but it has also brought out the best in people who rose above the pandemic by helping others. We’ve seen people come together despite the physical distance via online fundraisers and virtual gigs that push forward our passions with a purpose. Indeed, “walang imposible” for Filipinos when it comes to providing for their loved ones or caring for those who truly matter.

With this in mind, folk pop band Ben&Ben and mobile services provider Smart Communications have teamed up to inspire more Filipinos. Smart and Ben&Ben’s paths have crossed way back during the band’s PhilPop days as the network has always championed the annual songwriting festival.

B. Braun Avitum set to start Make-A-Wish Christmas campaign

Leading renal care provider and dialysis center, B. Braun Avitum, announced the resumption of its annual Christmas campaign, this time in partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation Philippines.

Founded in 1980 in the U.S., the Make-A-Wish Foundation helps fulfill the wishes of children with critical illnesses.

It was established in the Philippines on January 2000.

During the holiday season, B. Braun employees reach into the kindness of their hearts and “adopt” (i.e., buy) a customized B. Braun Bear. This program contributes to the Foundation’s cause of granting a wish for children currently afflicted with critical illness.

Medical research and doctors agree that a wish can help improve a child’s quality of life and serve as a catalyst to better health: when a wish is granted, a child replaces fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope.
