Globe At Home beefs up ecosystem, partners with discovery+ for entertainment content bundle

Globe At Home is leveling up its entertainment content bundle by throwing in a free three-month subscription to discovery+ so GFiber UNLI plan subscribers can indulge in their favorite shows.

This is on top of access to Viu, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO GO for three months offered with the plan. The special package is available to those who will subscribe to any GFiber plan.

discovery+ is the definitive non-fiction, real life entertainment subscription streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery. The service offers nearly 30,000 episodes of popular franchises such as “Ghost Adventures” and “Naked and Afraid”; exclusives and originals like “Johnny vs Amber” and “Love In The Jungle”; and current and classic hits like “MasterChef” and “Shark Tank,” plus so much more!

It gives subscribers unlimited access to premium content from iconic brands including TLC, Asian Food Network, HGTV, Food Network, Investigation Discovery, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, and more.

In addition, Globe At Home subscribers can access top true crime content from Investigation Discovery, including “Evil Lives Here,” and “Signs of a Psychopath.”

“We continue to beef up our video on demand partners to serve our customers better. We have also just released our new GFiber plans so our customers can choose the product that best fits their lifestyle,” said Janis Racpan, Head of Globe At Home Product Marketing.

GFiber is Globe At Home’s answer to the growing consumer demand for a fast, stable, and reliable internet experience.  Fiber is better for data transmission over long distances, can carry higher bandwidth, and is immune to interference.

Globe At Home recently launched new GFiber Plan 1699 which fortifies the fiber experience of customers with speeds of up to 150Mbps. It also offers GFiber Plan 2499 with speeds of up to 500Mbps.

Both plans include an entertainment bundle and free doctor consultations for 3 months via KonsultaMD. It covers 24/7 and unlimited teleconsultations, no appointment needed. Talk to a licensed doctor from the comfort of your home.   Customers may claim their free access via the Globe At Home app.

GFiber Plan 2499 also offers a free landline with unlimited calls to Globe and access to VIP hotline.

This is part of Globe’s efforts to provide greater accessibility to Filipinos in line with its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly UN SDG No. 9, which highlights the roles of infrastructure and innovation as crucial drivers of economic growth and development.

Globe expects to sustain its 2021 capital-intensive expansion and modernization program by earmarking P89 billion to construct new cell sites, upgrade existing sites to 4G/LTE, and accelerate the rollout of 5G and fiber-to-the-homes this year.
