Quezon Cast Makes An Appearance at ToyCon 2025

The cast of the upcoming Quezon film by TBA Studios made an appearance at ToyCon 2025 where a lot of big series and movie has also attended the event for their promotions. As one of the biggest collection and entertainment conventions in the country, it is the best place to kick-off the promotion of the film along with the cast.

The movie stars Jericho Rosales as Manuel Quezon and also stars Karylle, Mon Confiado, Arron Villaflor, Romnick Sarmenta, Cris Villanueva, JC Santos, and Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen. Directed by Jerrold Tarog, and co-written by Rody Vera, it will complete the trilogy of the Bayaniverse which started with Heneral Luna, and then Goyo Ang Batang Heneral.

The movie has been anticipated by many as there has been years since Goyo and delayed due to the pandemic. It was only this year that the movie was announced with Jericho playing Quezon which will also feature Benjamin Alves as the young Quezon seen in the previous films.

At the ToyCon event, the cast were also asked questions on their role and what to expect for the film. They also played games with the audience and to cap off the event, the cast were given a limited edition Reen Barrera "ohlala" figure. Their appearance also excited the crowd in ToyCon which is already jampacked for that day.  Promotions will now continue as they come close to their opening date.

The movie is now in post production and set to shown in cinemas this October 2025.
