September is the start of the Fall season which also means a great line up of fashion that comes in all forms and sizes. And for this season Converse Inc. debuts their Fall 2014 Converse All Star collection featuring new silhouettes and elevated detailing. Featuring a sleek monochromatic look, the new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Rubber protects from rainy day weather and music festival mud pits.

Converse never settled for anything less being a fashion icon. Recently they had the Converse #SneakersClashPH held at Fairview Terraces in line with the launch of their Spring Summer Collection with a lot of fun and cool activities that brings color and action to the people who loves the Converse brand starting with the the re-issue of the Chuck Taylor All Star 70’s. And since they have a lot of choices and editionscollections to their apparel and footwear, they made this chance to showcase these to the public as well as their new brand ambassadors.

Let the “Sneakers Clash” Begin!

All roads lead to Fairview Ayala Terraces on May 10 as Converse—the number one sneakers brand that lets you live out loud—unleashes the power of color in a series of simultaneous activities to herald its Spring Summer collection for the year, which is led by the re-issue of the Chuck Taylor All Star 70’s.

Dubbed the “Sneakers Clash,” the event invites the public to step into a kaleidoscope world where squeaky clean white totes, shirts and sneakers will be spun in a Clash Box and come out with a swirl of colors, customers will leave vibrant sole prints on an immaculate floor, models in painted tattoos will magically blend into dazzling background and photographs will be transformed into unique works of art.

FASHIONISTA: Fashion Experiments With Converse Weatherized Collection

Today we will be cooking up something new, not with food ingredients, but with fashion find that we can inside the flagship store of Converse Philippines. Housing the popular Chuck Taylors and other Converse collections like Jack Purcell and specials with comic series like Batman and other DC characters, we can now make an interesting approach to the sneaker brand and it other products.  

Sneakers is probably the best thing that ever happened in footwear. Developed in the past century has now the footwear of the people. And one of the iconic brands, Converse has reinvented itself to keep up with the times as style and taste change. And that is why we answered the call of converse for fashion bloggers to express and impress ourselves through mixing and matching different styles and combination using their latest line up, the  Converse Weatherized Collection. The new line up has a great selection of design and functionality which is both practical and fashionable. 

Converse maybe a brand for the skating generation, this does not limit the other possibilities of styles one can come up with. That is why I like to call it "Fashion Experiments with Converse Weatherized Collection."

Looking at the different designs of the collection, I saw the perfect personalities that would fit for those sneakers. And I have come up with 4 styles using 4 different sneakers, and probably 4 different personalities that come with it.  I posted these pictures in my instagram too.

The community of fashion blogger will be abuzz on November 28, Thursday, as 23 of their most well-known personalities will battle it out in "The 2013 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Weatherized Collection Look Challenge." Converse flagship store in Glorietta 2 in Makati City will be the stomping ground of this event where fashionistas - both men and women - will have to come up with a distinct ensemble using shoes and apparels (jackets, caps and bags) from the brands Weatherized Collection.

The de riguer fashion statement of the season, the 2013 Chuck Taylor All Star Weatherized collection displays a rough-hewn look perfect for the urban terrain. They are worn by those who want to experience life in all its textures and complexity, the perfect antidote to the safe and experienced. As arbiters of taste and setter of trend, fashion bloggers will be naturally drawn to the collection for its complete disregard of conventions.

Converse hails Even as its first-ever ‘Get Loud’ champ

Baguio-based band and North Luzon representative Even, whose song “Luminary” extols the virtue of holding one’s head up high, taking chances and being the best that you can be—important in this time of national crisis—was declared the first-ever “Converse Get Loud Band Competition” champ in the song writing & musical showdown held at Excess Superclub last November 9.

The band, which bested four other finalists chosen from major regions of the archipelago, also walked away with the People’s Choice Award by having garnered the most votes from Converse Philippines’ official Facebook page.

Converse Brings The Best New Bands To "Get Loud"

Music is very universal yet there are music that have become too melodramatic and boring, it feels like the same thing over and over again that fill the airwaves and the mainstream scene. However, there are those undiscovered but gold artists and bands which have great pieces to share that are just waiting for that big break.

Converse then made its step to explore hidden Pinoy talent all over the nation that will redefine the Pinoy music scene. Converse recently launched the "Get Loud" campaign in search for the best Pinoy Rock Band talent ready to roll as the new kind of sound.
