This is the 10th month that Globe At Home topped the Netflix ISP Speed Index since 2021.

Netflix recently released its February 2022 ISP Speed Index for the Philippines.  The index ranks ISPs based on the best viewing experience during peak hours.

Globe’s broadband business “Globe At Home” topped the latest Netflix ISP Speed Index for the second time this year.  Globe At Home led Netflix’s ISP leaderboard with an average speed of 3.2 Mbps in February 2021.

The Netflix ISP Speed Index is a measure of prime time Netflix performance on particular internet service providers (ISPs) around the globe. It is not a measure of overall performance for other services/data that may travel across the specific ISP network, it said.

“Our tireless efforts in improving network infrastructure are resulting in better connectivity, faster speeds and higher consistency. We expect our customers on wired plans using Netflix would be happy with our consistently reliable network experience,” said Darius Delgado, VP and Head of Broadband Business at Globe.

Dead Kids is directed by award-winning director, Mikhail Red, who is known for his internationally acclaimed films ‘Birdshot,’ and ‘Eerie,’ -- both of which are also streaming on Netflix.

“I have always wanted to make a film about the complexities of my generation. I wanted to expose the entitlement and insecurities of a generation growing up in a country of extreme social disparity but cleverly package it as pop entertainment. For me, Dead Kids is a story of young lives running wild yet cut short with their potentials unfulfilled. It is a crime story in the age of social media and a bleak vision of the Filipino youth’s psyche. It is a commentary on the youth’s views on masculinity, morality, and vigilante justice paralleled with today’s political climate. It is both a coming-of-age story and a cautionary tale for the builders of our future,” said director Mikhail.
