Academy Award-winner Angelina Jolie Pitt directs, writes and stars in Universal Pictures' new romantic drama “By the Sea” – her first acting work since “Maleficent,” and latest directorial effort after the Oscar-nominated “Unbroken.”

To be shown exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas nationwide starting Nov. 18, “By the Sea” follows an American writer named Roland (Brad Pitt) and his wife, former dancer Vanessa (Jolie Pitt), who arrive in a tranquil and picturesque seaside resort in 1970s France, their marriage in apparent crisis. As they spend time with fellow travelers, the couple begins to come to terms with unresolved issues in their own lives.

Alay Sining 8 art exhibit opening at Greenbelt 5

The Rotary Club of Makati West (RCMW) officially opened its 8th Alay Sining fund-raising art exhibit themed “Art with a Heart” at The Gallery in Greenbelt 5, Makati, which will run from November 13 to November 15.

In support of RCMW’s signature project, the Gift of Life (GOL) program, both seasoned and new sculptors contributed art pieces for the art exhibit-sale. A large portion of the sale price of each art piece will be donated to GOL program beneficiaries composed of youth and children suffering from congenital heart disease.

Philadelphia Proclaims Nov 25th as "`CREED' Day"‏

 Standing atop the Philadelphia Art Museum’s iconic steps, Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter proclaimed Wednesday, November 25th “Creed” Day in honor of the upcoming film—which explores the next chapter in the “Rocky” saga. Joining Mayor Nutter to receive the official proclamation were Stallone himself and fellow “Creed” stars Michael B.
