JobStreet bags awards for the entries #TogetherAhead: JobStreet's Response to the Covid-19 Impact under Communication Management Division for three categories namely Corporate Social Responsibility, Media Relations, and Marketing, Advertising, Brand Communication, respectively.

Customers who pay for their individual BIR taxes through the Bills Payment feature of the PayMaya app until May 31, 2021 can get a chance to be one of the 15 Balik Buwis Raffle Promo winners of P100,000 each. Each tax payment worth P1,000 is equivalent to one raffle entry.

"We have enabled over 60 government agencies and local government units (LGUs) with digital payments acceptance so that Filipinos can conveniently and safely conduct cashless transactions with the government. Globe to complete 43 site upgrades in Guimaras by September

Globe is beefing up its site upgrades in the province of Guimaras, known as the mango capital of the Philippines.

As part of its commitment to improve network connectivity in the country, Globe is eyeing to  complete the modernization of its 4G LTE network in 43 locations across the island province by September.  

“We wanted to make our presence felt in areas that initially we don’t have a strong foothold. We would like to assure our customers that Globe will have additional installations and site upgrades for more parts of Western Visayas for the whole year,” said Joel Agustin, Globe Senior Vice President for Program Delivery, Network Technical Group.

According to Ookla®’s Q1 2021 data [1], the telco has registered the fastest 

mobile download speeds in the following regions: Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), Bicol, Cagayan Valley, Caraga, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Eastern Visayas, Ilocos Region, Northern Mindanao, Region XII, and Zamboanga. These regions have been enjoying median mobile download speeds of at least 5.76 Mbps to 9.08 Mbps.
