Netflix Heroes For Day 2 of Asia Pop Comicon!

Day 2 of APCC is the most anticipated day as it will be the most activity-filled day of the convention. And like the first day, fan favorite areas were the highlight. One of them is Netflix area which the stars of Luke Cage and Iron Fist graced the stage there to do poster signing. 

This was the day of the Hall N (Netflix) where they had several panels for the afternoon. The first one was Netflix ♡ Anime which featured the Showrunners of Castlevania that will have a second season soon. Before they left, they also shared the world premiere of the second season trailer. There was also a brief appearance of Aggretsuko who danced to heavy metal music true to her character and also waiting a new season soon.


Marvel fans got excited with the introduction of the Luke Cage Panel consisting of Cheo Hodari Coker (Executive Producer), Mustafa Shakir (Bushmaster), and Mike Colter (Luke Cage).Season 2 is already streaming and they are happy with the episodes and the characters especially with Bushmaster which is an interesting anti-hero in the series. Then a surprise early appearance of Finn Jones as they also announced a team up of Luke Cage and Danny Rand.

Quickly after the photo-op, Iron Fist section brings back Finn Jones and Executive Producer Raven Metzner who is steps in as the new show runner for the new season that will start streaming on September 7. But they wanted to make a great impression for the crowd as they revealed great surprises like the exclusive teaser for season 2, and also shown the first episode which was also a world premiere. 

Signings were also made at the main halls which prompted fans to line up, Finn Jones also graced the Netflix area and recreate the Iron Fist activities there. Other activties continues like The Creators group booth by Globe, The Cignal Game booth, and of course the toys, comics and other collectibles.

However, it is also a struggling day for the Jollibee Funko Pop buyers as the units were quickly sold out early due to the surge of customers on the first day. They have to cut the limit to only 1 unit per customer due to the demand. And there were reports that some are already selling the units at ridiculous prices.

It might not have been a perfect day for others, but thank God we have real life heroes who continue to inspire and excite our geeky spirits to feel the community at the convention. Hall N has been concluded, now looking forward for Hall D (Disney) and Hall M (Marvel) on the last day!
