Mission: Impossible - Fallout -- Intense Action From Many Heights

It is already the 6th time Tom Cruise played the international spy Ethan Hunt and the question is always what is new for the latest franchise of the espionage flick. It turns out that there are still more to look forward to. Mission: Impossible - Fallout

Ethan Hunt is at it again after so many complications with his organization, the IMF. Also got into more international turmoil with Rouge Nation, now gets entangled with the CIA for a mission that also rocks his personal life. The dilemma now for this film is the rise of the so called "Apostles" who will avenge the capture of their leader Solomon Lane who was the main villain in the last movie.

This time is also the introduction of Henry Cavil as August Walker who works with the CIA and is ordered to be with Hunt all the time. And this role is the reason why Cavil kept his mustache which was edited out in Justice League. But even with the scruff look, he made a good impression with his skills in combat, and espionage.

With scenes taking place in Paris, London, and India, the showcase of the cities and the landscape was really exhilarating with the never-ending car chase scenes, broken glasses, and adrenaline-pumped combat that makes it really a impossible mission. Though the team might have slimmed down to Luther and Benji as his team, their own wit and charm makes them standout even better than the previous movies.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout stars Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, Angela Bassett, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin.  Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, now showing in cinemas, best seen in IMAX and Real 3D.

Deliberation time kids!

Show summary: Mission: Impossible - Skyfall

Quotable quote: "The end you always feared is coming, and the blood will be in your hands" -Solomon Lane

Technical Effects: 5 out of 5 stars (Great action cinematography, it was thrilling and exciting)

Plot: 2 out of 5 stars (Predictable on-the-dot turn of events)

Acting and Actors: 4 out of 5 stars (The ladies shine bright in the film like Rebecca Ferguson, Angela Basset, and Michelle Monaghan)

Pros:  Action scenes in the air and on the edge of the mountains, fast-paced combat action
Cons: predictable ending, giveaway clues

Music and Soundtracks:  3 out for 5 stars (Though the original soundtrack is nostalgic, it is oversued sometimes. Music is by Lorne Balfe)

Overall: Rating 4.1 out of 5 stars (Probably the most thrilling Mission: Impossible film for me probably because I am afraid of heights and the stunts are just bananas)
