Rocketman - Elton John's Musical Extravaganza

Elton John has contributed a lot of great songs in the music industry and can be considered an icon. Thus having a film based on his life means it can be a musical with his songs as an integral part it making it come true. Thus the Rocketman takes off with Taron Egerton playing the flamboyant and passionate singer and performer.

It is no secret that Elton John has a very colorful life starting from his childhood which started his passion for music. His origins as a musician grew and led him into the world of music, rock and roll, sex, drugs, and even love. It can also be recalled that in Taron's movie Kingsman, Elton John made a cameo which speculated  his role in the upcoming musical.

Though Elton may not be as popular as today, his hits have touched millions of lives and some are anthems of many which spans many decades. The film was well executed with the song and dance gives a spell to the viewers  and makes us want to sing and dance along. There are also times of sadness paired with the heartfelt melody of his ballads. Taron also sang Elton's hits and comparably was very similiar to Elton's.
It may be compared to another biographical film of Queen which is Bohemian Rhapsody but this one takes it even further with a beautiful integration of songs to the scenes and a more bolder depiction of Elton's addiction like drugs, sex, and language. So far it has been given an R-13 rating by the MTRCB.

Rocketman stars Taron Egerton, Jamie Bell, Richard Madden, and Bryce Dallas Howard. Directed by Dexter Fletcher, now showing in cinemas.

Deliberation time kids!
