G! LU Opens Today In Major Local Cinemas

This is the battlecry of the Valley Boys Club, the main characters in G! LU, ALV Films’ latest summer release. The tight-knit barkada, comprised of David Licauco, Teejay Marquez, Derrick Monasterio, Kiko Estrada, Enzo Pineda and Ruru Madrid, is about to embark on a major life-changing milestone. 

With school over and the rest of their lives ahead of them, they plunge headlong into the future with their heads held high, secure in the thought that they have each other’s backs — no matter what.

Ready To Hit The Beach In Cinemas With G! LU

We know that it really hot nowadays, but it can get hotter (in a good way) with the newest film by ALV Films called G! LU. The movie brings the hottest hunks in Philippine showbiz with this summer movie which is shot in the beautiful province of La Union.

The film is produced by ALV Filmsin partnership with Benchingko Films and Rein Entertainment. Written and directed by Philip King and produced by Arnold Vegafria, they held the media conference at KAO Manila, Newport World Resorts, Pasay City.

G! LU stars the premiere hunks of Philippine showbiz namely David Licauco, Teejay Marquez, Derrick Monasterio, Kiko Estrada, Enzo Pineda and Ruru Madrid, it also stars Pinky Amador, Michelle Dee, Katarina Rodriguez, Chanel Morales, Maureen Montagne, Sophia Senoron, Kimi Mugford, Ali Forbes, Carl Guevara, Ken Anderson, and Denver Hernandez.

Sunshine, Raymond and Enzo Makes Bold Cinemalaya Statement With "Malamaya"

As one of the competing films for the 2019 Cinemalaya, the film Malamaya (The Color of Ash) wants to make a statement with the directors, story and their cast. Making her debut with the film festival is Sunshine Cruz and Enzo Pineda and also joined by Raymond Bagatsing. Directing this are two impressive women  Danica Sta. Lucia and Leilani Chavez. 

Danica is a producer and video editor while Leilani, a soap opera writer and journalist. The film is first time in making their full-length film. They point out that Malamaya is a Tagalog term for the color of ash or gray, which is quite a contrast to the colorful world of art showed by the three main characters.

David-Shaira Loveteam Goes To Big Screen With "Because I Love You"


Rising new love team David Licauco and Shaira Diaz got lucky with a string of new projects as they started with TV shows and now will be the lead stars in ALV Films first romantic comedy movie "Because I Love You." As they also gain fans everyday because of their chemistry, the pair seems to do well in their career paths.

Because I Love You tells the story of two people from two different worlds, one is a rich boy while one is a poor yet striving fire girl off to chase her dreams. As both of them find themselves in a "hot" situation, they also find love despite the lovers who are also on their backs.
