Legendary Bands, Rock Icons Come Together for First Ever Pinoy Super Band Concert

For the first time in the history of Original Pilipino Music (OPM), the biggest and most iconic names in Pinoy rock music will come together to put up a performance for the ages.

Presented by Rockfordproductions, Inc., Full Blast PinoySuper Bands gathers legendary and OPM rock icons in what is easily one of this year’s biggest and much-awaited musical events.

All set to rock music fans with their timeless and iconic anthems at this once-in-a-lifetime musical showcase are legendary Filipino rock bands including folk rock pioneer Lolita Carbon of the Asin band and the boys , hit Pinoy rock band from the 70s, Maria Cafra, early 80s punk rock group The Wuds, and alternative punk group The Youth ,pinoy hard rock band Razorback and Pinoy metal group Queso.

As a fan of the longest running gag show in the Philippines, Bubble Gang,  has made unforgettable characters and sketches that have transcended trough generations, I am amazed on how these comedy sketches would actually become a very big thing. With its success and popularity, GMA Films and Regal Entertainment Inc., bring the wacky and addicting anticd of multi-talented comedian Ogie Alcasid to the big screen with the spin off of his character in Bubble Gang via BOY PICK UP THE MOVIE!

Set to hit theaters this June 6, the film not only promises to give the audience bigger laughs but also grants the wish of avid fans of Boy Pick Up from television into the big screen. This would be Bubble Gang's second spin off movie from their segments, the first was Yaya ang Angelina which also starred Ogie and Michael V.  Ogie expresses his excitement on playing the role for the first time after being in the industry for over 25 years. Ogie is likewise very thrilled to work with sexy Kapuso actress Solenn Heussaff who will be his leading lady in the movie.

MUSIC LYF: Tunog Natin Songs From Home Album

After Three successful  Tunog Natin! OPM Concert Series, its now time to bring it to another level with its first compilation album: “Tunog Natin! Songs From Home”.

Tunog Natin! Songs From Home gathers 16 of the most promising and established Filipino artists in a compilation album that celebrates the beauty of our very own brand of music.

Presented by Avida Land Corp., the album is composed of 10 tracks of authentic OPM music—three original tracks and seven covers of timeless songs that Filipino love. The album will exclusively be available in Astrovision and Astroplus record stores nationwide as part of the Tunog Natin advocacy to revive audiences’ appreciation for OPM.

“Coming out with a new album is definitely a huge step towards promoting OPM. The success of the three concerts has paved way to this new venture,” says Tess Tatco, Avida Land Marketing Head.
