Orange Magazine TV Relauch

Orange Magazine TV.com is now back on its relaunch last September 24, 2011. Now with a print version on the works set to be released in November, things are getting really interesting with Orange Magazine TV. Lately it has been on maintenance however its blog section remained active. Orange already featured artist like Champ Lui Pio, Noel Cabangon, Gloc 9, and also international artists like Bruno Mars, 30 seconds to Mars, and even local celebrities like Alodia Gosiengfiao, Marc Abaya, and Anne Curtis. Orange is just a year old but covered a lot of events mainly for music and concerts.

Blogger Fiesta 2011 at SM Nort EDSA Cyberzone

Over 180 blogger together in one venue! Blogger Fiesta 2011 was a big success with a lot of fun and learning from fellow bloggers who are experts in their own fields. However due to the bad weather and some errands, I came late to the event, but this never stopped me to enjoy and have fun for this year's Blogger Fiesta Manila. Also my Ninang's daugther Malen Pacis also joined us and marked this as her first blogger event!

DALAWANG PISO: Pinoy Two Cents

I just revived my oldest blog fpjjr.blogspot.com to give way to a Filipino blog section and also to revive the former glory of the blog that started it all. DALAWANG PISO, is my Pinoy two cents on every topic that can be discussed with. Basically to address different issues but also to be the new Blah Blah Blogs which was originally written in Filipino. Now that BBB is in a new level for international readers, I made use of the original blog to make it useful and also mark the start of another new chapter in this Manual to Lyf.

Blah Blah Blog RAINY DAYS: May DTI Permit Ba Yan?

This blog has been not tested on animals, does not contain pesticides and other allergic properties (well sometimes), non carcinogenic and hypoallergenic for babies 2 and above, and is now applying a barangay permit from  Spratyls Islands. For DTI Permit no XXXX series of 2011, Mabuhay ang Pilipinas Patungo sa Tuwid na Daan! (insert PNoy profile)

Captain America is My Motivational Teacher

Though he can't fly or have laser vision, Captain America is one of my most favorite characters in the Avengers as he  proves that you don't need super special powers to deliver justice. As a symbol of national pride and freedom, it would motivate me to do better in what I do right now. Even though I'm not an American, he does not look down on any race or culture. The pure intentions to serve his nation and it citizens was also one of my inspirations to be either a soldier or public servant someday.

Blog Proofreading Ensures Qualty Posts

Everyday millions of blog post are made worldwide and most of them are written in English which is still the universal language for business. Bloggers usually write freely and posts faster yet sometimes to careless to notice grammar and spelling errors. As the blogger does all the work like photos, video and content, one may overlook the importance of proofreading to the blog and its readers.

Happy Birthday Blogger!

It has been 11 years since blogger started to invade the world wide web and I am fortunate to be with this site for more than 7 years now, meaning I started blogging since high school even up to now. I just found out recently that there is a Blogger Fiesta event for the people who blog using blogspot.com.

Kuya Azarel got some sponsors for the event. This was on Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street in Global City Taguig.  This Blogger event was attended by more than 80 bloggers in Manila, including me. It was a night filled with fun talk as everyone would introduce themselves and give their sites. There was also also three speakers (Jonel Uy, Fritz Villafuerte, and Jomar Hillario). Gieser Mclang also gave away items as it has been one of the agencies that actively invite bloggers to their events.

Also kuya Az officially launched the Manila Bloggers' Network which is also a good time since most of the bloggers ae present. It was a very fun night with Pizzas by Greenwich, Krispy kreme Doughnuts, Goldilocks Pastries, and Yum Burgers from Jollibee. Also there are also invividual blogger who gave away prizes that made it more like a early Christmas party. Nevertheless, it was very fun, informative and also exciting as the blog scene in Manila is now in a bigger and connected network.

We look forward in having another blogger fiesta! And again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLOGGER!

Fud Fyt Is Now Officially A Blog!

Fud fyt has been a segment of Manual to Lyf as the food Authority even in the multiply blogging days. And I have noticed recently that there is a NEED for this segment to put up a notch and give it some independence. And since Food Blogging has a lot of things one can talk about which I can add more substance and flavor to it. Like a dish it should be subjected to something new, like experimenting. And even if has its own spot, It still remains a important part of how appreciate food, flavors and all the other elements.

I am still working on the blog for its initial post and also archiving some other posts that I have complied in my multiply account. So in due time, it can actually be a book about food plus more interesting and mouth -watering post that will make you go into a Fud Fyt!

We will also celebrate the new logo containing Manual to Lyf.  Basically its like opening a new branch which once was just a cabinet. I hope you will like the new changes, but still keep that hungry mouth drooling for tasting the endless possibility of enjoying and knowing food.

Now lets celebrate!

But don't fret, there will be an interesting read you will love coming this June 2010.

iBlog 6 Summit!

Its my first time as a blogger to attend the iBlog summit 6 at UP Diliman. I was curious because this is a blogger event that focuses more on the sharing blogger experiences, ideas, techniques and all other things a blogger can actually learn a lot from. The event is a 2-day summit staring April 16-17 from 8-5pm at the Malcom Hall.

So far I have only attended the second day since we were moving to a new house. But the speakers in the summit were recognized bloggers from the Pinoy Blog Awards. One of them was Marck Ronald Rimorin
(The Marocharim Experiment), who discussed about Political blogging and how it can contribute to society.  Noemi Dado from blogwatch also shared her experiences and observations with the blogs and conducts several interviews with candidates so it can provide more information to voters and spread them through the internet. Jinoe Gavan(takbo.ph) shared his experiences with blog contests and gave tips and tricks on how to conduct a successful blog contest. Joseph Gonzales(batangbaler.net) gave a very enjoyable discussion on community blogging as he tell the story of his blog that helped the town of Baler, Aurora by connecting people and sharing the rich culture of the town. And finally, Marhgil Macuha gave a informative talk about earning from blog via SEO.

As usual, the manila bloggers' team is there to take part in the summit and also had a lot of fun. Too bad that I have to get back to komikon which is just a few steps away from the venue (curses!). But luckily, I have some blogger friends who also went with me who will also go there. While the others went to the famous isaw stalls of UP (which I wanted to go). And there  was a afterparty held in katipunan. But in general, alls well that ends well. We felt that the talks were given more time but learned a lot of things. Blogs and bloggers are getting more bigger and affecting the society more and more. Which I feel that next year we may need a bigger venue...just a thought.

Its Christmas day! And we would like to greet everyone and to all the readers of this Blog a Very Merry Christmas! The year was somewhat a roller coaster ride for all of us but there are still a lot of things to be thankful for this year. Our families, our friends and also the things we have endured and also offered a helping hand for those who need them most. The year is not yet over so many things can still happen but for now, lets enjoy the holidays and focus on the birthday boy today that made a big difference in the world.
