REEL DEAL: About Time : Feeling Loved Up in a different time

At the age of 21, Tim Lake (Domhnall Gleeson) discovers he can travel in time…

The night after another usual New Year party, Tim’s father (Bill Nighy) tells his son a family secret, that the men in his family have always had the ability to travel through time. Tim can’t change history, but he can change what happens and has happened in his own life—so he decides to make his world a better place...by getting a girlfriend. Moving from the Cornwall coast to London to train as a lawyer, Tim finally meets the beautiful but insecure Mary (Rachel McAdams). They fall in love, then an unfortunate time-travel incident means he’s never met her at all. So they meet for the first time again—and again—but finally, after a lot of cunning time-traveling, he wins her heart.

The minute About Time begins, audiences see Tim as a normal fellow. He’s a slightly confused, but very likeable hero, who is going through his life with the same level of confidence the majority of ordinary people can muster. “You love Tim’s character from the beginning,” reflects producer Kentish Barnes. “You want him to succeed when he meets the love of his life.”

Lovi Poe makes a big primetime TV comeback in ‘Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas’

It’s been quite a while since Lovi Poe last graced the coveted halls of primetime television, but viewers and her millions of fans won’t have to wait any longer as the Kapuso Network’s Premier Drama Actress makes a grand come-back in GMA Telebabad next week.

Fresh from the production of her widely talked-about docu-series “Titser” which currently airs on GMA News TV and is receiving very positive reviews, Lovi is starring in the upcoming GMA primetime series “Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas,” which is slated to replace “Mundo Mo’y Akin” beginning Monday, September 9.

As a love team in many Kapuso series, Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino is back as a TV couple in the newest show "Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas" which will be part of GMA TeleBabad this Monday replacing "Mundo Mo'y Akin" which had its beautiful ending. Lovi and Rocco sat down with bloggers to talk about the new show, their characters, what to expect and other interesting things about the new series.

Lovi and Rocco were also part of the TV series of GMA News TV, "Bayan Ko" and the ongoing series "Titser". Though those were political eye-opener shows, the two does not have a official stand on current issues as they said it is very complicated and would not like to speak of names. But one thing is for sure for them is that they are very excited for all to see the newest series :Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas" which also include a great selection of stars like Cesar Montano, Gary Estrada, Tia Pusit, Solenn Heusaff,Liza Lorena, and Ms. Gloria Romero.

Cousin Gabby hints of a sexier Geoff Eigenmann

Fans should watch out for Goeff Eigenmann's hunkier body very soon!  This is what the actor's cousin, Gabby Eigenmann, hinted when he was interviewed by GMANetwork.com on the set of the GMA primetime series "Mundo Mo'y Akin."

Gabby revealed that Geoff has been hitting the gym since the first time he took him there.  The actor said his cousin is really determined to get back in shape and return to acting soon.  It can be recalled that several months ago, there were reports that GMA Network slapped Geoff with a so-called “fat memo” because he had become too stocky for television. Neither Geoff nor GMA confirmed the existence of such memo, however.

So, should viewers expect to see Geoff with a six-pack abs in a couple of months? "Hindi naman, siguro mga four-pack abs lang," Gabby quipped.

Meanwhile, "Mundo Mo'y Akin" is airing its finale episode tomorrow and Gabby is having mixed emotions about it.  Although he feels sad the show has come to an end, he is fulfilled that it ended well and that it was a huge success.  "Mundo Mo'y Akin" was extended twice because of its high ratings performance.
