Jeremy Renner Leads Returning Team in "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation"

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) has never needed the other members of the IMF more than he does in Paramount Pictures’  “Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation” – and despite the appearance that the force is done, they all come together, unpredictably as ever, to take on The Syndicate as only the IMF can.  The result is that Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames had a chance to take their characters more than a few bounds forward. 

“I love the dynamics between Jeremy, Simon and Ving on this film as you see the IMF team come under pressure and almost fracture,” says Tom Cruise. “It looks like the IMF is about to split apart and the whole story is going to blow up basically – and that’s integral to a Mission movie.”

Shining the spotlight on the hearing-impaired, Eastwood Mall, in cooperation with the Quezon City Performing Arts, plays host to Sayaw, Hataw, Galaw, an annual talent showcase of the Link Center for the Deaf.

Over 50 talented children and youth from the Link Center for the Deaf and the Quezon City Performing Arts will take center stage and showcase their God-given talents through a variety of fun dance numbers on July 25, 5PM at the Eastwood Mall Open Park.

The School `Spirit' is Alive in "The Gallows"

Perhaps nothing plays on an audience’s own phobias better than making them feel trapped in the kind of place they might frequent every day, all the while hunted by some unknown, unseen force.  “It could happen to you, too,” or so the filmmakers seem to be saying while, one by one, the characters on screen face an untimely demise in a variety of horrific manners.

In New Line Cinema’s horror thriller “The Gallows,” that everyday locale is a high school auditorium.  Moviegoers have all been there, no matter their hometown, and therefore can all put themselves in the characters’ place.

When was the last time you saw Haley Joel Osment in a Film? Was it back in "The Sixth Sense"? Well he is now all grown up and finally finished college and now back in making series and movies. Now reviving his movie career with his film Sex Ed.

Ed Cole (Osment) is a reconsidered teacher for an "after school" class for detention students. He notices that they would need to learn about sex education as they are adolecents and experiencing changes in their bodies. The class eventually got interested about the bizzare subject with taboo words discussed in scientific and practical ways. Ed also finds himself falling in love with one of his students' sister, now that is trouble.

39th National MILO Marathon ready to welcome champions in Manila

The city is abuzz with excitement for the Manila qualifying leg of the 39th National MILO Marathon on July 26, Sunday. The country’s biggest and most prestigious footrace will see children, students, aspiring runners and professional athletes of all ages on its running routes at the SM Mall of Asia grounds, Pasay City.

Elite runners including Eric Panique and Criselyn Jaro will look to break records and defeat their fiercest rivals to clinch the top purse. Prizes await the winners of the 42K division race, who will receive Php 50,000 in cash and a trophy, while the victors of the 21K division will receive a cash prize of Php 10,000 and a trophy. All runners who finish within the specified age-bracket and cut-off time per division will also receive a coveted slot in the National Finals in Angeles on December 6 for a chance to be crowned the 2015 MILO Marathon King and Queen.

“Vacation” marks Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley’s directorial debut.

Following in his father’s footsteps and hoping for some much-needed family bonding, a grown-up Rusty Griswold (Helms) surprises his wife, Debbie (Applegate), and their two sons with a cross-country trip back to America’s “favorite family fun park,” Walley World.

Rounding out the cast are Leslie Mann (“The Other Woman”) as Rusty’s sister, Audrey; Chris Hemsworth (the “Thor” films) in the role of Stone Crandall, Rusty’s irritatingly successful brother-in-law; and Skyler Gisondo (“Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb,” “Hard Sell”) and Steele Stebbins (“A Haunted House 2”), who play Rusty’s sons, James and Kevin. "Harry Potter" Director Conjures '80s Videogames for "Pixels"‏

From Chris Columbus, director of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone,” comes Columbia Pictures’ “Pixels,” the tentpole action comedy in which aliens attack the Earth, using 1980s videogames as the model for their invasion.

Columbus helped define 1980s movies as the writer of “Gremlins” and “The Goonies,” then went on to direct beloved, classic comedies like “Home Alone” and “Mrs. Doubtfire,” and help launch epic, special-effects blockbuster franchises like “Harry Potter,” “Percy Jackson” and “Night at the Museum.”
