One Night to Celebrate Filipino Talent And Beauty with a Purpose
Last June 19, Tuesday, Miss World Philippines 2012 held its Gala Night at Dusit Thani Hotel Manila. The said event was a spectacle of Filipino talent and beauty, as well as an opportunity to support women’s and children’s causes.
Raring to make the Filipina a force to be reckoned with in international pageants, the pre-pageant event paid tribute to and relived the beauty and elegance of a Filipina in a Filipiniana. Filipino fashion and talent were showcased by 25 Filipino designers in a parade of 25 different Filipiniana creations. Same designers including Veejay Floresca, Edwin Uy and Arielle Agasang will also design the gowns for all the candidates on the Coronation Night.
The Gala Night sponsored in part by ESQUIRE Financing Inc. (EFI) also aimed to raise funds for Beauty with Purpose beneficiaries namely, PGH Medical Foundation and TULOY Foundation. EFI’s friends, partners and clients trooped to the event to contribute to the Beauty with a Purpose project. “We strive to be a business with a heart,” states President and CEO Rajan Uttamchandani about EFI’s thrust.
EFI, the Leader in Growth Stage Financing, shared Miss World Philippines’ advocacy of supporting the cause of disadvantaged women and children. The Miss World Philippines 2012 Coronation Night will be aired live from the Manila Hotel Tent on Sunday, June 24 at 8:30 PM on TV5.
