MUSIC LYF: X Class - The Xtian Bautista Year 10 Concert

Time flies when you're having fun. And its best when you are also enjoying your musical and acting career. This is what Christian Bautista is having right now with his 10th year anniversary in the industry. I can still remember that he was part of Star in a Million as a contestant and from there, he made in through the very hectic and competitive world of showbiz particularly in the music scene. And even back then, I was a big fan with his singing and acting talent and now even with his dancing skills!

Now with this anniversary, he staged X CLASS held at the Meralco Theater (which he said was a big part in his career especially with Trumpets). The concert goes back to the hits he made in the past decade that made a mark to his fans and also featuring the songs in his latest album and projects like the Kitchen Musical. Of course, his concert would not be complete with special guests like Zia Quizon, Mig Ayesa, Alodia Gosiengfiao and many more that also made the night truly unforgettable.

REEL DEAL: Tiktik The Aswang Chronicles SNEAK PEEK

As a comic fan, I heard about the movie Tiktik The Aswang Chronicles way back in summer Komikon. And when I saw it there for the first time, I was really impressed. It brought Filipino Thriller Movies to a whole new level. We had the chace to take a sneak peek at the movie, with it meticulous production which actually took years in the making.

The movie made a lot of first with its production, and it starts with a very good plot. We know that there are a lot of aswang movies made in the past that we sometimes don't see nothing new with their story. But this one laid a great foundation with building the connection of the characters. Speaking of characters, Dingdong Dantes looks really cool in this movie as he does a lot of action and a unique approach to the character. Plus add heavyweight actors like Joey Marquez, Janice De Belen, Lovi Poe and Ramon Bautista just to name a few makes a unusual yet perfect combination of personalities to the story.

Jonalyn sets both of her hands on everything that concerns her concert.  In fact, she is very much involved not only in preparing the lineup of songs but also in the arrangement of the music and the overall production of the show.

Homemade food still best for tots, says Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan

Many busy moms nowadays have no time to prepare nutritious baby food. But when opting for store-bought bottled food, moms are not assured of the freshness and quality of these mixes, and that is why homemade food are still the better choice, says mother of five and Philips Avent brand ambassador, Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan.

“I am very particular when it comes to feeding my children. While there are many respectable brands of bottled baby food in the market, I still believe that nothing compares to homemade food that has been greatly thought out and considered for baby’s particular needs,” Maricel explains.
