Taking the slot of "Inday Will Always Love You" is another product of GMA Drama bringing an impressive roster of Kapuso stars in one show.  Tonight they will be unveiling a new show that brings the story of a very complicated family, PAMILYA ROCES.

Though it may appear as a simple family affair, turns out to be more than that with the patriarch having 5 different children from 3 different mothers. Roi Vinzon plays Rodolfo Roces who owns a very large jewelry empire and has long been known to only have his initial family and his wife. But it turns out that he had a past of being a ladies man and had extra-marital relations. Now all the children are now grown ups, their place in the family brings conflicts to all of them.

And when he unfortunately gets a heart attack, each of his families rush to his side. With this revelation, things get complicated. Suddenly, three women and five sisters find their lives outrageously and well, hilariously, intertwined.

The film follows the adventures of Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), a journalist that aims to uncover the secrets of the infamous Life Foundation founder Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed). Unfortunately, his obsession on Drake ruined his career and his relationship with his girlfriend, Anne Weying (Michelle Williams). In his darkest moments, Brock discovers one of Drake’s experiments and the alien symbiote, Venom, merges with his body. Witness Eddie Brock and Venom’s quest as they become one and reveal their inner anti-hero. 

After 40 Years, Evil Returns Home in "Halloween"

Universal Pictures and Blumhouse resets the timeline to bring Halloween to a new generation.  Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

Master of horror John Carpenter executive produces and serves as creative consultant on this film, joining forces with cinema’s current leading producer of horror, Jason Blum (Get Out, Split, The Purge, Paranormal Activity).  Inspired by Carpenter’s classic, filmmakers David Gordon Green and Danny McBride crafted a story that carves a new path from the events in the landmark 1978 film, and Green also directs.

RAWR Awards 2018 is all-set at Le Rêve on November 14

LionHearTV.net brings back #RAWRAwards2018 on November 14, Wednesday, 6pm at Le Rêve Pool Party Venue and Events Place. The annual award-giving body is backed up by the Filipino blogging community, particularly the entertainment blogs spearheaded by the aforementioned site.

A total of 25 awards are at stake in this year’s RAWR Awards. Dubbed as a spectacle of entertainment celebrities; apart from a 250-strong support from the new media practitioners (bloggers) across the country, PR groups are all in support as well as the respective fans of the listed nominees. 

The awards are grouped under three major categories—Lion, Cub and Pride.

Sanya And Derrick Goes Sexy And Sensual With "Wild And Free"

From doing cute and romantic roles, Sanya Lopez and Derrick Monasterio levels up their acting prowess with an explosive film by Regal Films called "Wild And Free." From the title itself, it already implied that the film will be daring and surprizing for fans and even movie goers. It was also shocking to see the first stills and trailer, it broke the usual image of the two but also know that with their looks and physique, they can confidently show their potential for roles like this.

Wild And Free comes as a game changer this year especially for Regal Films which has a majority of movie more inclined to comedy and love stories. Though this one also counts as a love story, their direction goes to a more mature path. Sanya is most known to play Danaya in the 2016's Encantandia, and now more active in more GMA shows like Haplos, Pepito Manaloto, and Inday Will Always Love You which Derrick is also part of. Derrick is also in the roster of GMA's hunk stars.

A Star Is Born - Emotional Encounter Of Music And Movies

The wait for Lady Gaga to star in her starring role is indeed over with the perfect material for her, a story with music, stardom, and drama. A Star Is Born had been brought to many live in the past and now found its way to 2018 starring Mother Monster and Bradley Cooper. But let us take a moment to see that with his film, Lady Gaga completely sheds her pop star skin to grow a new kind of musical idol within her and owning it.

This film is also a first for Bradley Cooper for his directorial debut. He has been nominated for the Academy Awards as an actor, and there could be a possibility that this one could also get him a directorial nomination. The film feels like a complete album coming to life with all the love, heartbreaks, struggles, passion, and some profanity along the way. 

Basically the gist of the story is boy meets girl, fell in love, made music together, girl becomes more famous than guy then it can now progress into more complicated and darker things after that. Even though I haven't seen one of past remakes, this one proved to be worthy of rich music that transcends into many genres and styles.

Venom - Did The Symbiote Spin-Off Spun Well?

As we still await the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we can  take a look on the characters still under the Marvel mantel particularly the symbiote series which features the anti-hero Venom. Though we have seen him in Spider-Man 3, this spin-off franchise is getting mixed feeling for both fans and viewers.

For this version, Tom Hardy takes on the role of Eddie Brock who is an investigative journalist who is out to discover the secrets of the Life Foundation headed by Carton Drake. As he tries to dig deep further into the mysterious company, he gets webbed in to a more complicated mess and eventually got to be the host of one of the symbiotes.

It was made clear that they are not linked to the current MCU, but the vast characters that can be derived from it gave it the structure to build its own universe. However there are some problems we saw along the way. One of them are continuity problems that are quite forgivable but maybe an eyesore for the observant eye.
