REEL DEAL: Kim and Xian Topbill Star Cinema's "Self-Help" Comedy Film "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo"

KimXi's First Movie Team-Up, Part of Star Cinemas's Continuing 20th Anniversary Celebration

In the continuing celebration of its 20th anniversary in the movie industry, Star Cinema creates another milestone as it returns to movie adaptation via Kim Chiu and Xian Lim's first big screen team-up "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo", a comedy movie based from the best selling humor book by self-proclaimed 'Internet Action Star' Ramon Bautista.

Directed by blockbuster director Bb. Joyce Bernal and under the script by Bautista himself and Carmi Raymundo, the writer of the box-office hit "It Takes A Man And A woman" will hit cinemas nationwide on July 31, 2013.

After tackling family issues in its kick-off anniversary "Four Sisters And A Wedding" and the controversial connected tales of life, dream, and love in Skylight Films "Tuhog" that will be shown nationwide this Wednesday (July 17), Star Cinema and its loyal viewers will talk about an experience that everyone  can relate to and learn from - moving on from a heary break, but with a funny twist!

"Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo" is a 'self-help' comedy movie about the lives of brainy 'ugly-duckling' employee Sandy Veloso (Kim) and her rich and dashilng boss Alex Prieto (Xian).

From an interesting encounter, the boss and the assistant will find themselves sealing a deal -- Sandy will help Alex learn the ropes for him to effectively run their company, while Alex helps Sandy learn the practical game of dating and relationships for her to get back on her ex-boyfriend Gardo and not get her heart broken ever again.

Aside from Kim and Xian, also featured in "Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo" are Kean Cipriano, Diane Medina, Jojit Lorenzo, Ryan Boyce, Lilia Cuntapay, Tonton Gutierrez and the author himself, Ramon Bautista!
