The Apprentice has been known in reality TV as the toughest arena of the best of the best businessmen and women that will be given the chance to work with the most valuable yet strict bosses of the top companies in the world for example like Donald Trump who hosts the US version.

This year, its Asia's turn to search for the worthy apprentice of Asia's business tycoon Tony Fernandes of Air Asia. 12 contestants from all over Asia including 2 Pinoys were short listed and go head to head to be the victor of the very first Apprentice Asia produced and shown on AXN Asia. And to be part of this show is far more challenging than finding a needle in a haystack, for more than 30,000 applicants all over Asia, trimmed thousands off until the semifinalist also went through interviews and also isolation in preparation   as if when you find the needle you will also to get yourself through the needle hole.

We got the chance to meet the two contenders Jon and Celina, which left us very impressed with their knowledge, wit, and track record. They and the other contestants will battle every week with challenges with businesses, marketing, and strategies. The Apprentice Asia is now showing on AXN and now in its 5th episode soon, and both of them are still in the game. And it gets tougher and tougher each week!

It's also great to meet them face to face to show their witty and slightly wacky side, a little different from the competitive and serious tone when the are out in the field and also in the nerve-wracking boardroom where their fate if they will be hired or be fired hangs in the hands of Tony Fernandes. They too are human yet showed a lot of discipline, skill, talent, and dedication to their craft to make sure that being in the top 12 is a worthy position and the real challenge starts when the first day starts. Now time ticks and also we await if they can make it t the finals and be the last one standing.
