Juan Minute Spotlight: "With A Smile" BlogCon

Aside from the Primetime and Afternoon blocks, the morning hours are now the hottest battlefield  for teleseryes and shows. And GMA brings a new kind of Romance-Comedy series featuring a love triangle between Christian Baustista, Mikael Daez and Andrea Torres in "With A Smile"

Joining in the BlogCon held last week were Mikael, Andrea, Shelly and Bryan. The cast shared the funny yet hectic experiences with regards with the show. With many also expecting more from just the usual romance comedy genre, With A Smile also showcase an ensemble of new and veteran actors and actresses. 

Knowing more about the stars behind the camera makes it more interesting. Protege almuni Shelly and Bryan shares their excitement with the new soap as they move on to become full time artists under GMA Artist Center. Andrea, having worked with Mikael feels very comfortable with him in the scenes. Or sometimes, a little too comfortable?


Mikael on the other hand is also busy doing his segment in Saksi called "Midnight Snack" where he does a little food trip around the metro and beyond in search for great cuisine that are  sometimes uncharted yet serves unique and delicious food. He is also a blogger at www.mikaeldaez.com where he shares the link of midnight snack and other things he loves to talk about.

Now  going back to food, the love triangle revolves with a food business which Christian manages with Isay (Andrea) having to serve for him. He soon then meet Dean (Mikael)  in an incident and the rest is kilig moments with Andrea and the two men.

Following the success of their first team-up in Sana Ikaw Na Nga, Andrea and Mikael will once again show their chemistry on-screen as they breathe to life the characters that we will love.

Andrea Torres plays the role of Isay, a barrio lady who has a passion for cooking and will pursue her dreams for her family while Mikael Daez takes the role of Dean, a man who believes that he's a disappointment in the family will soon realize his worth after meeting the girl that will capture his heart.

Portraying an equally important role in the series is the newest Kapuso and Asia's romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista as he embarks in his first acting project in GMA as Ashton, an independent self-made businessman who gets in a cat and dog fight with Isay but will soon fall in-love with her.

The network's newest offering is a great avenue for Andrea, Mikael and Christian to show not only their talents in drama but also their funny side that will surely bring a smile on everyone's face every weekday morning.

Joinng the ensemble are talented artists Vince De Jesus, Miggs Cuaderno, RJ Padilla, Bryan Benedict, Soliman Cruz, Marnie Lapuz, Gileth Sandico, Jak Roberto, Mikoy Morales, Shelly Hipolito, and Kimpoy Feliciano.
