Dennis, Kim, and JC Fight For Their "One Great Love"

ONE GREAT LOVE is quite a powerful phrase that could mean the ultimate partner for the lonely heart. This Christmas, this is the one of the major films competing in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival 2018.

Starring Kim Chiu, Dennis Trillo, and JC De Vera, the film is directed by Eric Quizon and is the sole entry of Regal Entertainment for the MMFF 2018.

The team up between Dennis, JC, and Kim is a first yet it shows potential from the reactions of fans from the released trailers. Kim shares her joy working with Dennis who is a leading Kapuso star. Though Kim and JC are from the Kapamilya Network, this is also their first time to be play as lovers.


Though at first glance, the film may look similar to other love films but Direk Eric clarifies that the story has a deeper plot which is rooted in patient love and the complications that can happen. He also said that this is not a "Hugot" film which banks on love frustrations, rather the story will flourish with the love it offers.

Kim plays the role of Zyra Paez, a woman who believes that love will complete her and will bring herj oy. JC is Carl Mauricio, who is Zyra's one great love. However, because of Carl's turbulent past, heu nintentionally keeps hurting the woman he loves. Dennis is lan Arcano, Zyra's dependable friend,w ho eventually falls in love with her. These three lives are intertwined in a story that reveals to ust that like all human beings, we all seek for love, but everyone see it differently.

They are also joined here with Miles Ocampo who plays Jemi Paez, sister of Zyra and who is mature for her age, while Marlo Mortel is Bryan Gomez, a loving as free-spirited guy who falls for Jemi. Their love adds to the charm of the film to bring in young love.

It also brings in the feeling of Valentine's for Christmas. A fresh pairing from the top networks plus the direction of Eric Quizon, who also plays a role in the movie as Jemi and Zyra's father,  and a promise of enjoyment this holiday can be expected.
