Awe-inspiring. That was the vision behind TCL’s recent "Heritage in Every Frame" event recently held at the Centro de Turismo Intramuros Manila, which masterfully celebrated the intersection of cutting-edge technology and rich local culture. As the top-panel TV brand and a global leader in home electronics, TCL has proven that seamlessly blending premium innovation with everyday Filipino lifestyle is not only possible—it is the new standard for modern home entertainment.
The celebration serves as the perfect backdrop for the arrival of the TCL A400 Series QD-MiniLED TVs, a breakthrough lifestyle innovation designed to completely reinvent home aesthetics by seamlessly blending next-generation features with the elegance of a true work of art.
Timed perfectly with the nation’s 128th Independence Day, the launch beautifully mirrors the synergy between classical heritage and modern innovation. Attendees got to experience the timeless masterpieces of legendary Filipino maestro Fernando Amorsolo, brought to life through seamless digital animation on the pristine canvas of the TCL A400 Series.
TCL Philippines Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Peter Chen
“The TCL A400 Series represents our vision of what home entertainment can become, not simply a device for viewing content, but a centerpiece that enhances the living space even when not in use,” says TCL CEO Peter Chen.
Cutting Edge Meets Stunning Display

The TCL Heritage in Every Frame event brilliantly highlighted the cutting-edge features of the TCL A400M and A400 Pro TVs. Using the ultra-crisp displays of the new A400 Series, the showcase breathed new life into the timeless masterpieces of legendary painter Fernando Amorsolo through seamless, high-definition digital animation.
A curated collection of masterpieces by Fernando Amorsolo, celebrating the richness of Filipino life and heritage, graced the advanced screens of the TCL A400 Series TVs stationed throughout the venue.
Among the featured works are Carabao Riding in Sunset, a peaceful depiction of rural life at day's end, and Noonday Meal, which captures farmers sharing a well-deserved break during the harvest. The collection also includes Tinikling, a vibrant portrayal of the beloved traditional dance that embodies the joyful spirit of community, alongside Dalagang Bukid, a timeless celebration of the Filipina and the serene beauty of the countryside.

The exhibition deepens with The Blind Man, a moving portrait highlighting human compassion and vulnerability, and Fruit Market, a lively scene showcasing abundance and everyday commerce. Concluding the curation is Bataan, one of Amorsolo's most powerful wartime masterpieces, reflecting the resilience and sacrifice of the nation. Rendered through the advanced technology of the TCL A400 Series, these iconic artworks are brought to life with remarkable color accuracy, clarity, and detail—offering an entirely fresh way to experience Filipino artistry, culture, and history.
Bringing a dynamic dimension to the exhibition, celebrated digital animator Mark Cañega reimagines the timeless works of Fernando Amorsolo using modern animation techniques. This brilliant intersection of classical artistry and state-of-the-art tech highlights a new evolutionary phase for traditional paintings, turning them into fluid, immersive visual narratives on the screen.
Visual artist Mark Cañega shares his digitally remastering process on National Artist Fernando Amorosolo’s masterpieces
Delivering an insightful overview of the digital remastering process, Mark Cañega shared the artistic philosophy behind the project: “Animating the masterpieces of National Artist Fernando Amorsolo is an incredible honor and a unique technical challenge. His paintings are not static; they are vibrant snapshots of moving wind, flowing rivers, and rural Filipino life. To honor his legacy, we ensured the animation feels like a moving canvas rather than a cartoon. Every frame is carefully optimized to preserve Amorsolo’s signature use of glowing sunlight and warm colors, matching the beautiful texture of the original oil paintings perfectly on the TCL A400 screen.”
Creative Dialogues
Another major highlight that captivated guests was an engaging discussion featuring the lovely TCL KOLs, namely actress Heaven Peralejo, content creator-slash-mommyvlogger Jenny Yeo, and Ms. Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo. The panel engaged in a dynamic exchange of personal stories, experiences, and impressions of the innovative TCL A400 Series TVs.
When asked for her first impressions of the TCL A400 Series TV, Heaven couldn't hide her surprise: “At first, I didn't even realize I was looking at a television—I thought it was an actual painting. The screen captures the texture, details, and raw emotion so flawlessly that the essence of the original artwork remains intact. It truly captures humanity, reflecting the remarkable endurance of Filipinos during those times.”
For Jenny, the most impressive feature of the TCL A400 Series is its ability to double as a stunning art piece even when turned off. She further elaborates, “My absolute favorite feature is the art gallery mode. Growing up, I always watched TV, but now I love that this mode allows me to display beautiful, available paintings instead of a blank screen. It strikes the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics. As a mom, I genuinely enjoy having this in our home, which is why I really want the TCL A400 Series TV.”

She says: “The TCL A400 Series brings a modern touch to the museum experience. It seamlessly integrates with today's technology, effectively bridging our rich culture and heritage with modern innovation. In fact, when you look at the TV, it doesn't even feel like a typical piece of modern technology—it blends in like a piece of art.”
A Noteworthy Contribution
The TCL Frames of Filipino Living event also served as a meaningful platform for giving back, with TCL donating essential appliances, including televisions and air conditioning units, to key beneficiaries within the historic walled city.
These donations will directly support the daily operations of the Centro de Turismo Intramuros, the Intramuros Information Center, the iMAKE History Fortress LEGO Education Center, and the Fr. Luis G. Merino, O.S.A. Library.
