Karylle Launches Cute and Fun ILoveYa Music Video

Karylle continues to make lovable tunes with the launch of her latest single ILoveYa which was released digitally last week. And with that, a music video is also anticipated to be released afterwards. The single is also exciting to fans since the last album she launched was back in 2016 for "Different Playground". 

True to her style, Karylle launches the music video of ILoveYa with a exclusive event helad athe the Upperhouse at the Brewery BGC with friends, family, and fans last August 3. The intimate yet music-filled event was also joined by musical acts that kept the event fun and engaged. Performing on that night were DJ Abdel Aziz, Joed Balsamo, Spongecola,  Brisom, Karylle and the Passport Holders Feat. Sponge Cola Releases New Song "Tempura"

Sponge Cola is back with an interesting pair of songs to close out 2017. Fresh off their latest hit “Bahaghari," which just recently entered Magic899's Hall of Fame list, the band is set to release “Tempura" and “Kunwari."

According to frontman Yael Yuzon, “Tempura" is "Basically a compilation of text messages from a friend, who was going through some relationship problems at the time." When asked about the title, he says "It is so personal and almost biographical, that the title is almost begging the listener to detach from the song's specifics. But at the same time, invites anyone who could lend an ear." So is it a rant? "I guess it is," Yuzon adds.

Diamond Recording Band Sponge Cola is all set to disprove naysayers’ claim that the local music industry is dead, by launching their latest release District this November 9, 7 p.m., at the Eastwood Central Plaza.

The said EP features collaborations between Sponge Cola and some of the respected names in the industry – Chito Miranda of Parokya Ni Edgar and Los Magno in the hit single XGF, which topped the www.mymusicstore.com charts for six weeks, and Queen of Bossa Nova Sitti.

When asked why it was called District, Yael replied, “District represents a fraction of a bigger whole, which is like the EP compared to a full-length album. This is a short burst, a sprint rather than a long run. This is also our way of shaking things up.”

MUSIC LYF: Universal Records sweeps Albums of the Year commendations

At the recently-concluded Star Awards for Music, Universal Records proved that it is the foremost independent record label in the country sweeping all the Albums of the Year commendations – Album of the Year (Araw. Oras. Tagpuan, Sponge Cola), Pop Album of the Year (Outbound, Christian Bautista), Acoustic Album of the Year (Panaginip, Noel Cabangon), and Rock Album of the Year (Romantico, Kamikazee).

Individual awards were also given to Christian Bautista as Male Pop Artist of the year, Sponge Cola as Male Rock Artist of the Year, Noel Cabangon as Male Acoustic Artist of the Year for their respective albums.

Once again, Coca-Cola made happy history with a massive nationwide concert party for the Filipino youth to celebrate its 100th year in the Philippines - the Coca-Cola Concert ng Bayan! 

The rocking concert party, which gathered Pinoy teens from all over the country unfolded at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds last March 23, 2012 and simultaneously shown live in key locations nationwide including SM Baguio, SM Lucena, SM Cebu and SM Davao and streamed via coca-cola.com.ph, allowing everyone across the country and the world to be part of the energizing music, the unlimited festivities and of course, the overflowing happiness.
