Every day around the world, 540 babies are born with a cleft, a serious health condition with potentially life-threatening complications such as difficulty in eating, breathing, hearing, and speaking. Budding R&B artist LOIR reflects on the process of growth and peace of mind on her new single “Umaga”—out now on all digital music platforms via Sony Music Philippines.

Inspired by her realizations in life and romantic relationships, the track maps her journey towards acceptance and starting anew with the right mindset.

Laced with lush strings, acoustic guitars, and minimal beats, the hypnotic slow jam is produced by frequent collaborators HavoMusic and Goodson, whom LOIR worked with on “Sakay.”

PRSP Invites Students and their Schools to Join the First-Ever Hack Sprint Edition of Students’ Grand Prix

After successfully concluding its Students’ PR Con last November, the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) is now set for its second leg of this year’s Students’ PR Congress with the Students’ Grand Prix Hack Sprint Edition.

Being the first hack sprint edition of PRSP’s annual student event and competition, the upcoming Students’ Grand Prix will be fully virtual and students from all over the country can participate. 

The event will be divided into three phases. BDO Foundation, DepEd and Huawei launch partnership

As COVID-19 continues to affect the return of students and teachers to classrooms, the corporate social responsibility arm of BDO Unibank has been finding ways to develop innovative learning materials that can be easily accessed online and shared offline.

BDO Foundation partnered with the Department of Education (DepEd) and Huawei Philippines for the development of supplemental learning materials that integrate key concepts into the teaching of Science and Mathematics in schools across the country.
