Joaquin Phoenix is Napoleon Bonaparte in Napoleon

About Napoleon

Napoleon is a spectacle-filled action epic that details the checkered rise and fall of the iconic French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, played by Oscar®-winner Joaquin Phoenix. Monster (怪物) - Finding The Unknown Things

When talking about Japanese monsters in general, we know them as bakemono (化け物), but there is also another term for monsters which is kaibutsu (怪物). Which makes me wonder about this 2023 film which also had its premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.

Starring Sakura Andō, Eita Nagayama, Soya Kurokawa, Hinata Hiiragi, and Yūko Tanaka, initially it feels like a thriller or horror film because of its trailer. But I guess it was intended to redirect the expectation for the storyline which has a very interesting twist.

Initially, the story tells the complicated relationship between mother and child, classmates and their teacher, the school and back to their families. The problems arose with the changes in Minato (Sōya Kurokawa) was noticed by his mother, Saori (Sakura Andō) and this prompted her to investigate the involvement of his teacher Hori (Eita Nagayama) and classmate Hoshikawa (Hinata Hiiragi). Things gets more complicated as more secrets and atrocities are revealed.

Cobweb - How Hard Making A Movie Is

Many of us still don't fathom how complicated movie making is. We usually know that the director has the most influence and authority in creating the film and all the elements that come with it. But it becomes more clearer with the film by Kim Jee-woon called Cobweb ( 거미집). It is a black comedy film starring Song Kang-ho (from the movie Parasite), Im Soo-jung (A Tale of Two Sisters), Oh Jung-se (It's Okay Not To Be Okay), Jeon Yeo-been (Vincenzo), and Krystal Jung (The Heirs).

Set in the 70's, the story is about a director named Kim Yeol who makes last minute changes to the film named "Cobweb" to make it into a masterpiece. To do this, they have to persuade the production company and their chairperson as shooting has concluded. But Kim was able to get support and the re shoots will be commenced.

This is where it the chaos starts, little by little problems and secrets are exposed which opens up a lot of problems in the production. The actors have issues with one another, the censors and authorities want to shut production down, and more secrets in the real-life production adds to the drama of the shoot.

Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie - Now More Awesome With Powered Up Pups

From the hit children's show of service and rescue puppies, now elevated with a new adventure fit for the big screen. It’s now the second movie from the show and has been a hit with its fans. We know the Paw Patrol is one of the most popular children's shows that targets animal lovers as well as to inspire them to different kinds of professions that deal with rescue and other forms of help. The success of the first movie has indeed paved the way for a sequel and a possible third film.

Previously known as M1LDL1FE, the Singaporean alt-pop trio embraces the next chapter of their music career with a balance of rhythm and introspection

Singapore-based indie pop trio Club Mild confronts impermanence with regret and meaninglessness on their latest single, “Sun Gazer.” Weaving a tapestry of introspection that resonates on multiple levels, the indie pop anthem combines vivid lyrical metaphors with funk guitars and pulsating electronic beats—a musical ode to facing mortality, embracing meaninglessness, and the overwhelming power of being the author of your own life.

According to David Siow, the band bassist, “Sun Gazer” was inspired by the feeling of being wracked with regrets that you end up “going around in circles” and “contemplating about bad life choices.”

Great Tokyo Adventure: Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo

Let's now go to one of the biggest Starbucks stores in the world, Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo. Opened in 2019, this one of kind Starbuck store elevates the experience from the usual Starbucks coffee stores, and this store is huge! It has 4 floors with each having something to offer its customers.

Being the regular in Starbuck in the Philippines, I thought it would be the same. Well, it is with the regular Starbucks, but it was indeed a roastery and reserve store. Located in Meguro City Tokyo, you can take the train via the Hibiya line to Naka-Meguro station and walk northwards the Meguro River.

Korean Variety Show "Unexpected Business In California" To Debut October 26 on Disney+

Starring Cha Taehyun and “Moving” star Zo Insung, this popular variety show returns for a third season on Disney+

Beloved actor Cha Taehyun and Moving star Zo Insung cast aside their red-carpet lifestyles to run an Asian supermarket in suburbia in Unexpected Business in California, a laugh-out-loud Korean variety show coming to Disney+.

After becoming accustomed to the bright lights of Seoul’s showbusiness scene, Korean stars Cha Taehyun and Zo Insung are whisked far away from home to the quiet  seaside city of Monterey, California to run a Korean-American grocery store. While there, they’ll be treated like everyday employees, sorting stock, stacking shelves and serving up a selection of snacks to local residents while the store’s owner takes a much-needed vacation.

The third outing for this beloved show will see Zo Insung build on his culinary prowess from earlier seasons as he attempts to share classic Korean dishes with American customers. Audiences can also look forward to a variety of guest appearances throughout the show, including a memorable visit from Zo’s Moving co-star Han Hyojoo.
